So "All My Sorrows" was a one time thing?

Shame they had to waste it on rowdy, drunken idiots in Lake Tahoe.

Thank you estranged4life for the torrent and Macman for the translation.

It's people like you - using your talents and sharing with the masses out here in cyberspace, that make life sweet.

I am technologically impaired -- I don't speak torrent. It appears to me, (being old and all) that it's a sister language to Klingon.... ;)

Thank you estranged4life for the torrent and Macman for the translation.

I just like to direct fans to recordings they may enjoy.

Thank you so much for the time you've logged bringing the gift of music to torrent-challenged masses. Michele

I once was torrent-challenged until I bought myself a new PC in mid-April (HP Pavilion DV6000), and since "someone" (who DID at one time post here - SHE knows who she is) decided to "Stab me through the back to get to my heart" I have been "FREE" to learn how to torrent, and I mastered it very quickly.

I am glad fellow Ledgies such as Macman can upload the files to share with those who havent mastered torrents

I'm still a little baffled on how the concept of torrents can be daunting.

You download a program (any one of a number of bit torrent clients), click on the torrent, and you're downloading. What's so hard about that? I'm honestly curious.

as is the finding an acceptable program that one needs to change .flac to .wav files. For me EDITING the files before burning (Fix gaps between tracks, reduce clippage, expand the stereo separation, balance the stereo spectrum, fix vinyl sourced 'pops' and 'clicks', remove high levels of audio hiss from an anolog source, etc.) was the only minor issue I had (Currently using WavePad v3.05 Master Edition, Switch v1.12 master edition, CD Wave Editor, Efficent WMA MP3 Converter and Nero Wave Editor as my editing programs of choice)

Back when I first started using torrents... I can't even remember how long it's been... Anyone remember "Sharing The Groove". Must have been around 99 or 2000.... It wasn't as simple as installing a program and off you go downloading... The whole concept wasn't as widely known as it is today, or the information readily available on what you need for a program and programs needed to decompress the flac/shn files... It literally took me a wknd on the computer constantly to get my head around it. I knew nobody that was doing it to give me advice etc... But once you get it, it's a no brainer. Today there are many clients to use... Back then there was ONE! from the guy that invented the whole thing. Ironically, I think he went on to become an advisor to the entertainment industry on how to stop torrent downloading.

That's easy for you to say. (Just kidding)

I was a member of Dimeadozen and with great anticipation attempted the torrent thing. I had bit-tornado and two other programs (they are still on my computer at home...something called flac ?), but could never figure it out.

If I wanted to download something, I had to have the correct "ratio thing" happening, and when I tried to upload, to get my ratio up there, I still wasn't doing something right.

I subscribed to the yahoo user-question/answer thing and after reading it for 9 months, I found out that with inactivity, I was no longer registered with Dime.

Like I said..."It's Klingon to me." and I need a tutor to come out to the trailer where me and the other special kids take our classes... :wavey:

I don't know if this answered your curiosity question...and I suppose if I had someone show me how, I would be more competent, until then, like Blanche DuBois, I will have to "rely on the kindness of strangers."

If you're stupid or your computer is stupid, it doesn't work. Now, I'm not assigning blame to myself or my computer. I'm just saying . . .
