hi everyone...i know a lot of u are good friends with steviefan49 (arlene) and just wanted to start a thread wishing her well thru hurricane ike...i've been in touch with her by phone 3 times since it came ashore and headed straight for houston and she has no power but is keeping her spirits up...her parents are also fine and arlene was at their place yesterday...if u'd like to wish her well i'm sure she'd appreciate it as she's got to be the sweetest lady i know...hugs pat

Awwwww.. Thank you all SOOOOO much! And Pat, thank you SOOO much for this sweet thread! It's been something else over here, for sure, and I JUST now got my power back after one solid week without it! Pardon the pun, but the "Dark ages" sound pretty fitting right about now.. Sheesh.. Businesses are just now opening up after being boarded up and shut down for a week, and it's not fun over here.. Thank you all SOOO much for the kind thoughts and words..
