Hi everyone. I have some bad news for you all. The car that I love so dearly(LoL, not anymore) finally quit on me on my way to Chicago for the Stereophonics concert there. my 2003 Toyota Corolla had 220,000 miles on it and had taken me to see Fleetwood Mac, Stevie, and Lindsey almost 100 times over the last 6 years. I was driving into Indianapolis, and it started to make weird noises, and it just seized up right on I-74 about 10 miles outside of Indy. I pulled over and a ton of smoke was coming out of the engine and when the cop pulled up he looked under my car and ther was a ton of **** I wouldnt tell what it was, under there. I have Towing insurance so I had it towed to someplace in Indy and I took the Greyhound bus home and got back at like 6pm last night. I dont know if I'll go and get it if the place calls me and says the engine is shot, not sure about that yet. But the good news is I did get to see the Stereophonics concert in Washington D.C and I met the entire band and they all signed my poster and I got pictures taken with them, so it couldve been alot worse. Obviously this means no Lindsey shows for me this fall, but that's the way it goes. That car has taken me to see 75 Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey/Stevie shows over the last 5 1/2 years, so this was bound to happen. I just wish it couldve a little closer to home. I was able to get a taxi into the city for like 50 and a bus ticket home for $100. so thats about it for now. I need some rest LoL

Wow, now that's dedication and adventure!
You should rally their people and have them buy you a new car. It's the least they can do.
lol.

(sorry to hear about your car troubles)

I'm really sorry to hear about that. I know you really loved that car.

On a positive note, the next time you're in the market for a car, may I recommend a Subaru. I have a Saab 92-X (which was made by subaru) and those things last FOREVER!!! And they're reasonably priced to boot.
