Well, i checked Amazon again, and although the release date is still 12/31/08 (i'm sure that will change again, since December 31st is often used as a placeholder date) the release now has an official name: "Live In Chicago". So that will be the official name of the release under Warner, and hopefully since the release now has an official name, maybe there's hope that we'll be getting it after all.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, this is no longer being released through Warner, it is now being released through LRS MEDIA.

Wow...i have never seen that before. It just came out of nowhere. I like the packaging, although i don't know why the company would use a picture from TimeSpace on the DVD disc.

Stellar Products...low expectations.
It's just a "fan"-shot video. They sell plenty of other Stevie DVDs as well.

But if it's fan shot, does that mean it might have footage that the "official" dvd doesn't have? If so, that could be really neat.

I believe the DVD is just an audience shot recording of the Chicago TISL show from 2001. I actually have a copy of the DVD and an audience recording on 2 CDs as well. This was a really good show...and also my first time in the front row for Stevie. There was a couple with their 3 year old daughter in the front row next to my friend and I and when we walked up to our seats the little girl (who's name was Rhiannon) thought my friend was Stevie and handed her a rose that she was holding. Her mother was like "no honey...that's not her...she'll be up on the stage!" It was so cute. And then when Stevie was singing Rhiannon the little girl was just so excited. Waddy even came over and gave the little girl a pick at the end of the show.

How do they get away with selling bootleg concerts for profit?
I thought this stuff was on a fan trade basis.

They should be for trade only... But there are idiots in the world don't forget.
Prime example they are all bootlegs.... I made these three DVD covers... They are on Neil's Artwork Archive site for Fleetwood Mac DVD's.... Bastards!!

Yes I have that DVD. Its a bootleg fan video. Not that good. The guy who shot it has no idea how to use a camera or set up a shot. Mostly out of focus and all over the place. The sound is not too bad.

No, the Amazon releases for the CD and DVD are not bootlegs...LRS Media is a distribution media outlet that has the rights to soundstage releases and WTTW products...it is legitimate.

They can call it whatever they want! I just hope they pick a release date, stick with it, and release it! Thanks for the update!

'bootleggers for profit' know some fans (uneducated in the art of music trading) will pay ANYTHING for a bootleg of their favorite artist.
Bloody hell, I've even seen stuff I have traded away end up on eBay...

Yes, it's going to be Soundstage, but it has been renamed, just like FM's Live In Boston in 2004 was their Soundstage performance.

Darn! I was hoping in vain I suppose. But the audio is already for sale on the Target website... hmm, now that I think about it, it might only be the partial concert. I also didn't know that Live in Boston was soundstage... but, eh. I learn like 20 new things having to do with Stevie each day!
