So anyway, I'm working at a local grocery store called Rainbow foods in my cashier job( How ironic, a gay guy working at a place called Rainbow:laugh:) last Thursday and this really nice guy came through my line and bought groceries. He wrote a check and the name on it said Kim Anderson. Yes, him. It wasnt busy so I shut off the light at my register and helped him bag his stuff. Quietly, so as not to embarrass him I asked if he was once married to Stevie Nicks, and he told me that yes he was. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT! I mean there were 5 people ringing groceries up and he comes thru my line. I always knew he lived near me, but this was the first time I had ever met him. We chatted for about 5 minutes and had a really nice pleasant conversation. Just a really cool guy!:cool:

Wow David. that is a cool story and very random. I wonder if Stevie ever did get to give Mathew "the box" she was saving for him.

David, that is so awesome! I bet he got a kick out of someone knowing that (as although we all would, I doubt much of the general public knows who he is) ...

what did you guys chat about?

(and on a side note...I love that you work at Rainbow!!! Do you have company shirts or something? Pride Uniforms!!:blob2:

That has got to be one of the coolest things ever. THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! ughhh, seriously, that is so so cool. SOOOO cool.:laugh: I love it.

Well, I went overboard not to make him think I was a wacko or anything like that. He did tell me that he and Stevie were still friends, but I didnt try to gain any more information than that. He did say that he would come back in the store again and if he saw me we could chat again. That I thought was really cool.:woohoo: Oh and Macman, I did tell him that I had been to almost 100 shows, but I was quick to say that I have no interest whatsoever in her or anyone else in the band's private life or anything like that.

That's so cool David, what are the odds? I got to meet Mathew at one of the Vegas shows. That was cool, he had his fiance with him but he stayed and talked and took a picture with me!

I'd post the picture, but I don't know how to get it from my hard drive to here! Anyone care to tell me?

Ok, thanks littledarling88. So, this picture was taken after the last Vegas show. Basically I was just hanging out by the door and talking to everybody as they were leaving. I was talking to Carlos and Jana and Mathew comes up and they introduce me to him. So I asked him, are you "the" Mathew? And he laughed and said yes. He was there with his fiance and they were having a great time and then they went back in to see "Aunt Stevie."

Caesars is a great venue to get to meet the band. They were so nice and I got pictures with everybody - except Stevie!
