Thanks you all so much for the wishes. It was a nice day, nothing special, but nice.

I will tell you though, at about 11:45 pm I was trying to get to sleep, when there was a knock on my door. I'm thinking it's my roommate or something, so I don't get up to answer it. Then it happens again, so I'm like "Well, I'd better get up. See what's up." Well, it's my RA and I open the door. He tells me "I got a call from the front desk and they told me that you've got visitors and a present down in the lobby." So I go down there to see what's up and turns out, a couple girls that I went to school with that go to Western walked all the way from their dorm to wish me happy birthday since we didn't see each other that day. The present was a cupcake! So yeah, we talked until they had to leave at midnight.

Nothing earth shattering, but for me at least, I really thought it was special. :nod:

Aw...that was special.

First year of college...and all the rules go out the window.

It was my 18th birthday and my family forgot....but a couple friends didn't, and I will remember it forever...a bunch of home-made cards and desserts stolen from the cafeteria. (Ah, to be a poor college student again!)

I so shall. One of them is a music major like me, so I will be seeing her ALL the time.
