I'm Not Me - My Vinyl Skips :(

[TrueFaith77]

I bought I'm Not Me on vinyl from ebay and it's all scratched up and won't play for more than a few seconds without skipping... on every song. :( Very disappointing but I heard enough to know I want it. Does anyone happen to have an MP3 of the album? Meanwhile,I'll keep looking on ebay for another copy.

Better yet...wish it would be released on CD. I bought the album when it first came out. Also have the cassette!

I have a vinyl-to-mp3 converter. If I find a vinyl of it, I'll be sure to send you the mp3s if you want. I did The Visitor. I'm not very good at that sorta thing, but I think it sounds good! If anyone wants that I can try to send it too.

LOL I had both too... I still have my Visitor Cassette case lying around somewhere...

Also had like a deluxe import album of the Visitor...

I'm Not Me was a solid album I miss hearing very much...

The Visitor was released on CD -- I have it. And probably easy to find with a little digging around.

oh really? i'll keep an eye out for it. haven't seen it on ebay.

[TrueFaith77]

I think I got I'm Not Me to play. Seems to have something to do with how I calibrated the turntable. I'm a novice. Though there's still some skips, there's far less than before.

ETA: "I Want You Back" is awesome! Yay, Lindsey!!

Yeah, it's "wonderfully weird." I don't think Mick and Lindsey would have been at odds over the musical direction of Fleetwood Mac in the 80s. . .

There's A Video?!?!

Thank you, Street_Dreamer, I can't wait to listen to these when I get home!

Mick Fleetwood's Zoo.

Thanks for the info.

Sometimes I forget what I've got on CD or record.
I have the Visitor on album, still sealed. Also The Zoo Shakin' The Cage and Mick's Something Big on CD. I should give them a spin.

[Street_Dreamer]

Just to reiterate, the reason I posted those albums for download was because either they are out of print or very, very hard to find. I don't go around posting Rumours or Tusk for download.

Does anyone know on which songs Christine provides vocals and/or keyboard. Same question with Lindsey: vocals and/or guitar?

Other than I Want You Back, Angel Come Home is the other song Lindsey appears on in the album providing backup vocals. He's pretty noticeable on that one. I'm fairly certain that Christine plays piano on This Love and I Give.
