I do not think it is her..The only pics I have seen of her that remotely rememble this are the ones from a Halloween party in 1978 where she went as a witch in whiteface.

There's a little bit of Stevie in everyone, no?
(No double entendre intended ... initially.)

From the sounds of it, everyone was in Stevie! LOL!

It looks like maybe Stevie's face was photoshopped in there? I think it's her face!!!

I agree. It looks like her, but the shoot itself doesn't seem familiar to me at all. Has she ever done pictures weiring a veil (aside from her wedding)?
Either way, you'd get ripped off.

 ha ha ha, oh my....I don't like to think about that side of Stevie.

That's what I thought at first. As for the creepy eBay picture - it sort of looks like her, but not really.

It almost looks to me like the WH poster photo (her face) flipped and tilted up, then photoshopped onto this other image. I think it's kinda pretty, but not for the cost. As some sort of "hey kids, look what I created on a board", that's cool, but as a supposed promo poster, I say ney. The additional info it gives as being a promo poster, etc, is bogus, cause how the hell would they know? And there isn't a bit of writing on the poster. DAMN, the notion of a potentially rare new shoot woulda been cool. lol Now watch down the road, it'll show as the real deal, and we only WISH we could have bought it for this low, low cost. NOT. haha. Sorta like that Fritz 45. I want to start a collection of bogus "rare" and costly FM/SN stuff.

Well, then I have some stuff for you! For $100. you could be the proud owner of the box of Gas X Dawn and I saw in the boys dressing tent backstage during the SYW tour! Or, how about a black rhinestone from Stevie's bedazzled Reeboks that sailed across the stage while she twirled during Stand Back? This is especially rare since it is the last documented time she twirled that fast. That I'm willing to let go for a mere $500. These prices are especially for you because we have history. :p

Also one other thing of note, if this is apromo poster where is the promo? There is not a hint on it of who it is no name no album nothing. Not much of a promotional item if you don't know who it is.
I must admit I would not be suprised to find it is Stevie in the pic. But was totaly rejected. An experiment that just didn't work.
But I agree it far more likley it is Stevie's face potoshoped in on a vintage pic. It has a very late Victorian/Edwardian look to it.

It looks like her in a way, but that photo would've been alover if it realy was her. It's a beautiful picture though.

I zoomed in on it, and I will say it looks like her, but that doesn't mean it is. The seller says they've found similar photos from google images, but I can't dig any up that even look close, and don't remember ever seeing ones similar. The cynical side of me thinks that it can't be her because so far no one here is familiar with the photo, or anything similar. It has no identification on it, and a promo would at least have the artists name, if not album title and record company info. The description read like the seller had first hand knowledge of where the poster came from, as if they worked at the store the poster was left at. If that were the case it would be more plausible to me, but if you look at their other items, it's clear that they have a business selling rare posters, and that makes me think perhaps someone sold them this with the story of where it came from. Goddess, aren't you friendly with Herbie W.? Maybe you could get his opinion on it's authenticity? That's a lot of money for a creased poster, even if it is Stevie.

Stevie once said she was a nun in another life. Or maybe this Stevie exists in a parallel universe. And somehow Sister Stevie crossed over and got her pic taken. Is that possible? I think this looks like Stevie.
From the sounds of it, everyone was in Stevie! LOL!
I guess you're not speaking from personal experience, so not quite everyone. Don't you ever wonder how good it must have been for those men whom experienced Stevie so intimately?! Would this be a good question for Tom Moncrieff?
