If Stevie is going to add so many cover songs to her set

[RavenOfRhiannon]

(And this is not to open up the debate about if she should or not. Clearly she is for the time being)

Let her pay tribute to Tom Petty by dropping I Need To Know and adding Don't Come Around Here No More.

It was written for her anyway, and I think Tom wouldn't mind in the least...

I second that emotion. By the way, does anyone know if Stevie did lay down a vocal track for her original lyrics (as rejected by Mr Iovine!) and if so, is there a demo of this available? It would have been inspired of Dave Stewart to ask Stevie to sing the lead on his 2008 revised version but then I guess he's not in a position to be asking her favours! Another missed opportunity I suppose...

Do something--

I think Stevie doing a different Tom song would be awesome like "Dont Come Around Here No More" I love that song and would love to hear Stevie's version

I absolutely love Don't Come Around Here No More. That may be my fave Tom Petty Song. I also love Stevie's vocal on it, and would love for her to do it.

I have sent a package to the Texas address, and haven't heard anything. I did however, as many of you know, give Stevie's people a letter I wrote for her at the concert I went to this summer.
