Hi everyone - I'm putting this here too in case some of you don't go to the LB forum but want to contribute

I've just received my review copy of Gift of screws - haven't heard it yet....

BUT, I 've also had a note to say can I interview LB tomorrow evening!!!!!
Can I? Oh I think I can!!

It will be over the telephone (I'm in london). I'm frantically trying to contact the record company to confirm it. But, assuming it will happen - please feel free to put some questions down for him.

Sorry to sound so excited but hell I AM excited

Will keep you updated as things unfold.

That's great!! :D I would like to know when he thinks they will start recording the next Fleetwood Mac studio album, because Stevie said around October.

I'm kind of curious as to what his favorite song of Stevie's is. She once said in an interview that her favorite of his was Stephanie.

That might not be appropriate to ask though since he's kind of promoting a solo album.

If I were to ask ANY questions about Stevie while he's promoting a solo album, it would have to be band related. In essence, what is his favorite song within the confines of the Mac, and what are his favorites of Christine's and Stevie's. To me, asking his favorite Stevie song while promoting his solo record is pretty tacky, IMHO. Besides, he's already said Gypsy is his favorite, I do believe.

Please ask him....or tell him, that if he doesn't add a few ditties from OOTC, I'll only go to like 2 or 3 shows vs. a dozen!
Really, what's up w/ that? Do I want to hear all his new stuff. Hell yea, but OOTC is a great piece of work. I am sure all the Buck-heads have beat me to asking something about OOTC tracks on the tour, but I'll add my 2 cents.
Thank you...and good luck!!!!! <3

Used to be, but now he might say Thrown Down.

What is the first single from GOS? and is there a video?
Who gets to choose the singles to be released? Lindsey or the label?

His thoughts on iTunes ? (changing music business)

And maybe ask him about future documentaries?

I wouldn't count Thrown Down or Gypsy, since those were released as Mac songs. I would be very curious to know what his favorite song of hers from her solo projects would be...

On another topic, I would like to know if he's ever been interested or does he play dobro, slide, or steel guitar...and if he listens to or admires any specific instrumentalist.

Doesn't he play Dorbo Gold Dust Woman?

What about attempting to confirm if the upcoming Mac recording is just going to be a few new tracks for inclusion on yet another 'best of' collection? Maybe you could ask if there is a possibility it might turn into a full blown album if the sessions go well? Oh and also, what may become of the unreleased tracks from the Say You Will sessions? Plus lastly, when will we see the reissues for Live, Mirage and Tango In The Night?

I really want to know if Fleetwood Mac will come to Scandinavia of Sweden in 2009...? It's really cool that you're going to interview him :) Please, ask my question, 'cause I really, really want an answer!

Have the best time!

I believe the label usually has a bigger say in what gets picked for singles to promote the sales of the albums. My guess is is also a collaborative effort with the artist to.

Maybe some of it has to do with how much clout you have at the record company.

Ive heard stories about some artist who have fought tooth and nail with the record companies on what goes to radio--they evidently don't always see eye to eye.

He plays a dobro on Destiny Rules. With regards to her solo work, I would bet he would say he didn't know as I think he (honestly) never really listened to it.

I would love to know if he would consider doing a solo concert in the UK like Mick is doing in November. Thank you:wavey:
