I wanted to write this before we all over analyze Stevie's Soundstage performance. I thought she was absolutely awesome. Her voice sounded better to me tonight than in a very long time. She seemed to put more feeling in every song. No sleepwalking tonight, she even had some new dance moves (to me anyway). The two things thats surprised me the most was how much energy she seemed to have tonight compared with the last 10 years or so. And just how beautiful she still is. Her hair looked gorgeous with that touch of curl. Stevie please, please don't change this for awhile! I even liked "Crash", and really didn't expect to. This might be her best show since the 1980's.

Soundstage always does a nice job with their DVD's. So I can't wait to hear it in Dolby Digital 5.1 , and the video quality is top notch. The concert will be even better without all the edits and in the proper order.

It's good to be reminded why I became a Stevie Nicks fan.

I was pheclempt...Sara...sober!
:]
She looks hot in those leather pants!!! She rocked it!
How can she still be so young and dewy looking! Stevie is looking and sounding sexier than ever. She is very inspiring: and totally BACK.

And having both Lori and Sharon back is great!

Yeah, you know it really was pretty good. I didn't like the bootlegs I heard, but when I saw her do it live this tour it was OK. Just watched soundstage and I liked it even more.

Going to buy the DVD. Stevie is more beautiful than ever!! I couldn't believe her energy level!!! She's so youthful and she sounds better than ever. She finally seems to be VERY happy in her personal and professional life. Can't wait for Part 2:blob1:

I was blown away by her performance. I ordered the DVD on the phone. FYI don't order it when driving because I wasn't able to write down my confirmation number. HAHA

I feel the same way from just seeing Gold Dust Woman online (soundstage doesn't air until 1AM Sunday here). That little scream she does before the chorus each time "Aaaah sell it!!!!" and then Waddy does that hard riff, man, it makes me grin from ear to ear EVERY TIME I listen to it, and I'm ashamed to say how many times I've listened to it now  . The only thing this song is missing is that primal scream she did during the Dance concert. But this is still easily the best Gold Dust Woman I've heard since then! :blob1: I can only HOPE some of this passion will carry over to the upcoming Mac tour, because she was Steviebot the last two times I saw her with them  .

I think Stevie's been more alive in a long time starting with the Gold Dust Tour. She just seems to keep stepping it up a little more with each passing year. I really liked her dancing on last night's Soundstage, in particular her HSML cape swingin routine.

You know that was one song I didn't like her covering when I heard it on the internet. I liked it when I saw her in concert and it came across very well on Soundstage. That's a hard song to do. She's tackled songs by two of the best male singers in rock and roll(IMO). And the band played it spot on. I have a lot of respect for DMB and I think they would be proud of the way their song was done by Stevie and her band.

even though my sorry antennae can't get a clear reception, I could see Stevie shine!
She looked radiant and her voice, her voice sounded great, I especially loved Sara and that crazy wind, and the wind became crazy!:blob2:

I am going to buy this DVD!

Now if they would only release the 1981 HBO show I would be even happier.

You said it! Very nice post!! :)

Thanks for the compliment Jessica.

As I posted in another thread, the Soundstage DVD in now on backorder. But they are expecting another shippment within the next few weeks. I think if ordering it from PBS you will get it before the official release date, that is if they can get more stock in soon.
