Looking at the pictures and videos of this current tour, I send a BIG, heartfelt thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and images of Stevie & her entourage. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making this accessible. Cheers!
Sometimes I wonder if I "should've just gone" to a show. Yet...
having the responsibility of a beautiful home & mortgage, a gorgeous two week vacation already planned, being home for the summer... and saving days for spontaneous trips with my husband, in the spirit of prosperity ~ the cost of a ticket is extra fuel money we need for the ease of traveling when the spirit moves us. And besides, I am not a night person ~ I'm up by 5am doing yoga.
I get my fix of live music and dancing at a price that I can more easily handle seeing jazz and local bands. I also sing, drum and play guitar for fun and spiritual growth, so I'm getting a musical high for free.
Stevie's spirit and influence is something that touched me when I was quite young and this made a positive difference in my life. So when I start to doubt my choice of not seeing a show, I remember that the light I carry with me is illuminated with the love and spark of Stevie's essence. This helps me feel balanced in my choices when thinking of the big picture with my family, our home and our goals.
However, I did decide that when Stevie tours again, even if it's simply a lawn seat at PNC Arts Center, it's on my calendar and I'm there! Maybe it's her new, glowing ivory outfit...

Well, I did see in another post that you did see her once, so that's something to tide you over. And we have the Soundstage coming up. After all the reviews, I'm looking forward to that more than ever. Although, it won't have Face the Promise on it. I am not going to look at that on Youtube, because I want to see it live first. Hope that opportunity arises some day.

Like Stevie says at the end of her concert. "Dance, sing, play music. Music will bring peace back to our country. Save the music"!

I am just glad that I got to experience my first Stevie "solo" show. Now, I am going to start saving all the money I can to see the Mac! {if they come that is}. Ooooooooh, lets hope. I love hearing Mick beating the drums, Stevie and Lindsey and their powerful connection on stage, and John's.....well I guess is shy smile. LOL! i just miss Christine though. I wish she would come back. But let's just wait for SoundStage first. I am not even going to watch it in July, I would rather wait till September to buy it, because I don't want to see a concert broken up into 2 peices. I want to watch it completely. Thanks Stevie for coming to St.Louis!

i really love this thread..
the thoughts, the hope, the everything about being a part of the human c0mmunity..
I feel so blessed that I got to experience Stevie twice on this last leg of the "Crystal Visions' tour.. keeping the music alive by listening, in heavy rotation, to the Greek Theater (LA) bootleg - much thanks to Torri and the taper for sharing - and its beauty. I do love Stevie and, agreeing with Joe, a very cool Stevie tour...
the poets in my heart.. is Stevie.. her band.. and the many fans who take the time to share exactly where they are.. and how Stevie means the world.. yes, as the fan on the Greek Theater bootleg says.. we love you Stevie...
see you on the lawn...

..
If gas prices have effected even the upper middle class this badly I think it's gonna be curtains for the repubs come November .Also I have known nearly homeless people that managed to scrape enough together to attend a La Nicks show I guess it just depended on your priorities .

I also want to say thank you to everyone who shared their Stevie concert experiences.
That's why I love the boards. Really good reviews and really good people that come together to share the magic and wonder that is Stevie Nicks.
Even though we can't go to every show, sharing makes it seem like we all were at each show. Wow, can you imagine a Stevie show where only fans from the boards can have access? Now that show would really really ROCK. :)
