I am psyched. I cant wait to see this in crystal clear HD television. The pics are great...Stevie looks awesome. I dont think that is a grey skirt though...I think that is the white dress she has been wearing with a dark line going through it on the picture...unfortunately. :blob1:

I like this one. I notice the background looks like a tree in winter with a huge full moon behind it. Anyone who has seen the show care to elaborate on the set? The backdrop reminds me of what FM used to use on their first tours out with B/N, like in my sig pic.

NOT AT ALL. I do/did love it though. But it was NOT the songs from the tour No outside the rain,partial dreams, no garbo/rosegarden/sleeping angel, no golddust woman,ect,ect. ect. It would have been great if it was just like seeing stevie in concert at that time. but as much as i love it. it was not.

This is more like the HBO one, or the red rocks vid, an actual and well, i'll put that in quotes ....an "actual" fulll show. a la the then "current" tour set. ect. (with afew not in the set. (fall from grace, sara,)

Stevie Nicks - Part 1

In this episode, Soundstage captures a radiant Stevie Nicks in her first filmed solo performance since 1987. Clad in high heels and lace, Stevie boldly jumpstarts the night with "Stand Back." Don't miss a second as she performs songs from her comprehensive career retrospective album, Crystal Visions. Throughout the evening, Stevie elegantly showcases her vocal abilities on "Fall From Grace," and follows a stunning performance of "How Still My Love" with a cover of Dave Matthews Band's "Crash" interpreted through the eyes of a woman. Stevie also beautifully performs "Sara," a song rarely performed without Fleetwood Mac, before finishing up the hour with an amazing cover of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll."

Yes, it's being released as a DVD and a CD, both out Sept. 9th. The cover photos will probably be released sometime in late July, early August.

Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham has just announced another round of solo dates. This time around his Gift of Screws tour will hit UCLA's Royce Hall on September 14th and The Grove in Anaheim on September 19th. Meanwhile, a two-part episode of PBS' "Soundstage" featuring Stevie Nicks will now premiere on July 17th and July 24th. The DVD/CD of Stevie's "Soundstage" performance is still coming out on September 9th.

No, it was a bust. I had the living room set to Stevie mood lighting and everything.
But the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers soundstage came on instead. :shrug:
I don't know if the web site totally messed it up or they were told to yank it and not air it yet, don't know.

Oh well, I guess I can wait until July 17 and we can all have a Stevie Soundstage party that night. :thumbsup: The boards will be buzzing with lots of posts I am sure.

did anyone manage to pick up a promo poster? I went to Borders and FYE and they both said they don't give out the posters any more. Borders just don't "hand them out" and FYE said they get sent back to the company.
