Alright, so I just woke up this, the morning we are to leave to see Stevie. I actually had a Stevie dream last night, and sadly, I was rather shocked at how dissapointing it was in most aspects.
We got to the venue, it was nice. I had my two copies of my letter with me, ready to give them over. The show itself was alright, nothing special. The edge walk came, and I totally was not prepared for it. Now, our seats weren't amazing, but something in me just told me to run.... And run I did. I kind of closed my eyes and just went for it. Eventually the crowd stopped progressing and I wasn't to the stage, but I was a lot closer. Then all of a sudden, boom, and I was right on the stage. It's like, how did I get here.
Actually, not that I recall, we all got to the stage, BEFORE edge was even played, so we saw a couple of songs. But yeah, it was just me there, not mom or sister, and come to think of it, my dad wasn't even there.......
So anyway, Edge comes and happens and we're so exciting about the walk. Stevie got inturrupted midway to do some sort of shopping somewhere (I know, crazy, but it is a dream) and then she comes back and finishes up. She gets to me and I grab her gloved hand and kiss it and I tell her I love her. She doesn't say anything, and really doesn't even look at me. I then get my letter, which for some reason was wrapped in a larger box, not an envelope. I present her with the box, and she just kind of looks at it and in the most careless, "i don't give a darn" voices, chipes, "nope". She then moves on. I remember trying to hide my dissapointment from everyone around me. Shortly after I woke up.
Needless to say it was a dissapointing dream and I don't know how to read it, but anyway I just wanted to share and figured you'd get a kick out of it. Any thoughts or comments would be cool.
Much Love,
Ethan
