You are our queen
You're always great, I mean,

The world would've change, I know it's true
Now I wish you the best of day
When you celebrate it today

Aww.. this is great!!! What a wonderful way to celebrate Mama's Birthday! I have a Yahoo group, and we sent a t-shirt and letter to Herbie and Stevie, and he is giving Stevie our shirt and letter and Birthday card today! I'm SOO excited! I SOOO can't believe Mama is celebrating 60 years of life today, as she looks forever young! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mama!:woohoo:

Reminds me of Stevie's commentary on the Stand Back video where she comments on how tiny the wardrobe armoire is.

I decided to organize my Stevie & Mac MP3s. So I spent the day listening to rare stuff and working out how to tag it all properly for iTunes.

Why I thought I could accomplish this in one day, I have no idea. I think this is going to be an ongoing project.

I saw on Entertainment Tonight the "Capitol One Birthdays"

"What female rock singer used to be a housekeeper???? That's Stevie Nicks who today turns 60!" Yeah! I loved hearing that on tv. My mom called me and she said, I didn't know she was 60? I was like, yeah mom. how old did you think she was. And she said I thought she was my age. (My mom's 54 by the way). She wonders what her secret is to staying young. My mom looks damn good for her age too. We all age gracefully in our family. I come from a good lookin' family. LOL! Hell, I'm 29 and I still get carded everywhere I go. And I don't really drink, but I still get carded! Some think that I am 20 and one lady at the gas station thought that I was 18!

Anyway I celebrated Stevie's birthday by toasting to the television when ET announced the birthdays, with my trusty water cup and saying here's to you angel poet. So I didn't really do very much just chilled.

I look forward to reading about the big bash she throws for herself, when she has the time. Until then, I'm sure her friends did something wonderful for her

I commisserate. I had to reformat my harddrive and then move my old files back manually (since the Norton Save and Restore program is crummy). Now, for some reason, Itunes says my old library is damaged and won't import the songs again. Yes, I think working with Itunes is an ongoing project. It could last the whole summer.

I tried to do some Stevie drawings but they didn't come out well. I am not a good drawer.

Yikes. I had a hard drive go corrupt on me early this year and trying to retrieve files from that nearly drove me crazy. Luckily I had most my important stuff backed up.

I'm still trying to work out the tagging thing! I have a lastfm.com account and it's made me a little obsessive about it. I think I've worked out how I want to label and date live stuff and interviews, but outtakes, demos, etc are a mystery. Bleh.

Stevie would have a good laugh if she could watch us doing all of this.

Please, share your poetry with us. That's ok if you are not a good drawer, Stevie draws well enough for both of you.
