Our new design is wonderful, & the performance issues of the past seem to be a thing of the past!

Well, I'm happy if that's the impression. I suppose we shouldn't tempt fate. I have noticed that that email glitch we used to get frequently hasn't recurred. I think we still get slow sometimes, but not like before.

But by just talking about it, I'm sure we have jinxed something.

But by just talking about it, I'm sure we have jinxed something.Talking about it, & possibly too because I switched out my old cable Ethernet router for a super-cool combination cable modem & wireless router!

But the Ledge definitely loads a lot faster for me these days. I used to cuss (in French & English) at Marty in the old days for how slow it was. He'd roll his eyes, throw up his hands, & reply, "You nutso, dude."

How come there's now no link to the Blue Letter archives?
Myself and others helped build that up over the years.

If you go in from the home page, you can still get to the Blue Letter Archives and Second Hand News. Go in through www.fleetwoodmac.net.

I used Marty's BLA and SHN sections as a FM resource for years in the past and have recently added 100s of articles to it in the last few months, so I have no intention of omitting it. However, it will take 1000s to move the combined articles (BLA and SHN will be merged) from the old site into the new News system, so they will only be moved gradually, in increments. Until then, once the old home page is replaced with the new one, the new "News" section will have links to BLA and SHN.

Furthermore, they can be accessed directly through www.fleetwoodmac.net/bla
and www.fleetwoodmac.net/shn and also through web searches, if there's a specific article that you are looking for.

I absolutely love the new design. When I proposed about a year ago or so that we should upgrade, I never actually thought it would happen. You all did a very nice job and it is very enjoyable. Brings new life to the Ledge, I think!
