I for one couldn't care less where she lives. As far as I'm concerned, that's none of my business. That's her private life, and I have no right or interest in knowing anything about that.

I would like to think that through her music, she lives everywhere. ;)

But David, don't you think that where she lives-what she sees when she looks out her window inspires her- I for one do-
She has livedon the ocean and written many songs about that -She has lived in the open desert and written many songs about that- She herself has said that Landslide was written when she was looking out the window at some mountainous range in CO. I think it makes a HUGH difference where she lives.
Don't get me wrong...I don't want her address, but I think the area that she is living in has lots to do with her writing,
so I disagree-on that basis.

the house she had in Malibu, as many of us here in L.A. know, overlooked PCH. If you were on the corner of PCH and Sunset, and looked straight up, her house was totally visible. It was really cool.. I agree with David saying it's her private life; I second that. I was still just pretty neat considering when you thought about songs she wrote about the ocean; her house had a perfect view of it :)

My Thomas Guide labels that area as Castellammare (never knew this), apart from Pacific Palisades. If you can see her house from Sunset/PCH, it must have been onCastellammare Drive, which runs parallel to and overlooks PCH.
The last I read she was moving to a high rise condo on Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica.

My husband and I went to Santa Monica last October and I was totally curious about where she lived. I would have definitely had my picture taken in front of her place, had it been possible. :o
On the other hand, now that I am back in NC, I couldn't care less where she lives.

The Detroit view could inspire loads of beautiful, scenic songs!

I am sure she agrees, given the fact that she lost about $1,000,000 on the sale (at least from the listing price to what it actually sold for!!). It was a great home, BUT me thinks she wants to be by the sea, by the wonderful sea!!! Now, she's got another home that she has to unload, her so-called "mistake."
