View Full Version : Alberta/Sask/Manitoba
Yes, I complain about this a lot. No, I don't care if it bothers anyone.
When was the last time Stevie performed in either Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba? 2004 with FM? Sorry, but I don't have hundreds of dollars in order to get a passport and fly all the way to the states just to see a show. Ontario and BC are out of the question, too. Somebody shake some sense into whoever decides where she plays. Same with LB. They're getting OLD. I'd like to see Stevie/LB/FM before they all bite the dust. Anyone with me on this?

I'm sorry. That really does have to suck, especially when you have people here (the U.S.)who get to go to several shows within driving distance, but complain because they didn't get seats within the first few rows. Although it would be a huge expense, if you know it's been such a long time since Stevie or FM has been close to you, and you do want to see them before they retire, just start saving now. Chances are better that you'll be able to save to go to at least one show than them coming to you.

FM sold out two nights in Calgary on the SYW tour, right? All I remember is that Calgary was a quick sellout- it might have just been one show (too lazy to look at the itinerary) They also played Grand Forks, ND (just south of Winnipeg) on the tour too, I believe.

Just the one night in Calgary... They could have probably done two. That Grand Forks show (2 hours south) was the closest they've been to Winnipeg since 1990:eek:

I am so with you on this!! although I live on the East Coast of Canada..I just can;t figure out ..why when they play in NY.conn. Mass and all the east coast states can;t they just head north and work their way across to frickn Ontario ..I guess they don.t realize how big Canada is and how many miles from say Nova Scotia or New Brunswick to Ontario...and then only one or 2 dates there...I used to live on the West Coast and can;t remember the last time she played in BC. never in northern BC thats for sure..I usually have to fly/drive to the states if I want to get a Stevie or Mac show in..and honestly with the price of tickets not including the cost of getting there ,its just out of my range these days too..,,Guess I will have to become a Eagles fan..as they will be here this summer.

Yeah, the only time they played in Sask. was back in 1990  They went to frickin' Lethbridge (Alberta) in '77 or '78.

No kiddin'! Some people are like, "I went to six concerts this tour but I DIDN'T GET FRONT ROW wah wah cry cry." Some people won't be able to even see FM or any of its members in their lifetime.
