Cheryl Cusella - Stevie's daughter?

I found the strangest thing about Stevie on a website, and really don't believe it. Have any of you ever heard of Cheryl Cusella? Apparently she was a Stevie impersonator who looks just like her, and someone on THIS (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Fleetwood-Mac-461/research-paper-Rumours.htm) website claims she is her biological daughter:
The reason I say that this rumor has strong evidence to back it up is because I once personally asked one of Stevie Nicks' closest family members (I won't name names) if Cheryl was in fact Stevie's biological daughter. The family member got very silent for a few moments, then began giving what seemed like a hundred frantic reasons why that's not possible (none of which were at all valid), and then got very angry at me and said, "I don't want to talk about this anymore!" and that "Cheryl Cusella is no longer my friend!" This family member has never mentioned Cheryl again and neither have I. It's an extremely touchy subject for this person and I feel like they would have never reacted the way they did, if Cheryl was not somehow related to the Nicks family. (This is, of course, my own assumption.)

To sum it up, this family member never once actually confirmed nor denied that Cheryl Cusella is Stevie's biological daughter. The subject was simply detoured somewhere else.
Who is this supposed expert and does she have any credibility? Does anyone have pictures of Cheryl? I don't think the "evidence" presented is very convincing. However, I find it interesting that there was an impersonator that looked so much like her, was well-known, and was even befriended by the family?? I was unable to find any pictures, other than on this site:

I believe I was Cheryl's (Cusella) first date. It was a double date (thank god) so it was not like we saw each other much before the date. She just wanted to be with her best friend Melinda, and my friend need someone with a car. I don't remember much about the date.....but probably a disco for the 18 and under crowd...Mabel Murphy's-on a sunday night....maybe?

There was not a lot to Cheryl back in early 1979...very shy (at least around guys), but she was very attractive.

Her mom worked many years as a waitress at Coco's in Scottsdale's fashion square area. She seemed to be the bread winner of the family, making life for young Cheryl, Theresa, and Nino a challenge early on . I remember even back then the rumor that Cheryl was related to Stevie Nicks, but at the time, I really did not put much thought into it.

I remember meeting Cheryl's stepdad (Theresa's dad), and at the time got the impression he was a Vietnam veteran with a lot of personal issues, but then it might have been me getting the once over by a weary stepdad :eek:

Fast forward to June 1986, I remember hearing Cheryl was going to the Stevie Nicks concert at Compton Terrace. Limo/Backstage...I believe her and Stevie met for the first time that evening. If you ask me, this is where she met the people who steered her in the wrong direction, and took advantage of her connection to concert world. Before she knew it, she was beyond the point of know return, and people got hurt.

The last I had contact with the Cesella's was in 1989, when I move to California.

I actually have a copy of Cheryl's autobio 'Sweet Poison' - written in about 1990, and advertised as a full pager in 'US Magazine' as a 'best seller' :lol:

Incidentally, the book's about her life as a Stevie impersonator, and how she ended up in jail for supposedly cheating people who gave her $$ to promote concerts.

Anyways, in the book Cheryl mentions her own family members, and not once made any reference to being Stevie's 'daughter'. Her only ties to the Nickses was that she became good friends with Stevie's mother Barbara for awhile.

For my dear life I cannot see that happen in the Nicks family. her parents basically allowed their underage daughter to move in (is that shackin up? :)) with an unemployed hippie with a guitar fixation, to drop out of university and to start a music career in freakin' San Francisco in 1968. Go and find more liberal parents.

Plus - the family frequently moved due to her fathers business anyway, in their case there was not much honor to preserve from the neighborhood and it would have been easy to just move once more.

Sure, I don't believe at all that she's Stevie's daughter. And I don't at all believe that she's "wacko." I just think it's funny that some people are so quick to dismiss the *possibility* when we, as fans, have no way of knowing whether or not it's true. Is it likely that Cheryl is Stevie's daughter? Not at all. Is it possible? Sure, anything like that is technically possible. Some people think it's perfectly normal to speculate that Stevie and Lindsey still have a romance every time FM goes back on tour...but the second that something less than flattering emerges as a rumor, it is immediately shot down as being not at all a possibility.

Since she couldn't keep me because of the scandal, she left me on the steps of a foster home. Hi Pete, I talked about it on page 4. She scammed someone I loved out of a lot of money. He was going to lose his home and went to great lengths to get the money back from her, but her brother only covered for her. He killed himself because of it.

I’ve had the misfortune of working directly with Cheryl Cusella, as she’s even mentioned me in her book. She is a crook. My attorney and I had to threaten her with court in order to be paid a fee she owed. She is not Stevie’s daughter. She did however, know her mother Barbara, as she knew some details and information that only could have come directly from Barbara Nicks. It is my understanding that Cheryl is now inprisoned, where she belongs.
