Everytime I try to change it I keep getting an invalid file. I make sure it's 75x75 and it's a jpeg

this is one of the biggest frustrations for me too. which is why i've only changed it once :lol:

if you get any pointers, or figure it out, let me know.

I've never had a problem, until the database migration last week. Now, I get that same error when I try to load one. Same thing- and my file is smaller than the specified size, so size should not be an issue.

Well, yes. It's a good bet the migration probably had something to do with it. I know we had some Discography and What's New problems because of it. We're running an updated version of Mysql now and maybe that conflicted with what was running before.

I'll try to check out the avatar question with Vbulletin technical support.

Well, I certainly hate to see 'Eddy' removed from your avatar. I get such a kick out of that picture.

Ok, they told me:

I fixed the error. It was an ImageMagick error. I switched you to the GD image library instead.

We'll have to see if that does the trick.

LOL, and I thought it was Eddy. I thought how brilliant is this that she (or he) put an Ab Fab character as their avatar! I'm afraid I don't really know who Janice Dickensen is, though I've heard her name on a few of the gossip blogs.
