Tampa show announced

Stevie will be making a concert appearance at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, June 8. Tickets for this show go on sale Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. $25.00 to $125.00

Despite a wardrobe of chiffon and peasant skirts that has bolstered the thrift store economy since 1977, it turns out Stevie Nicks is not, in fact, a witch. Which is great, because now we can poke fun at her in our customary New Tix way without fear of magical curses.

Now if only we could find something bad to say. The excesses of the Bratz dolls that pass for today's current pop crop make Nicks' wild years seem positively quaint, and they never wrote anything as rock-solid as "Rhiannon."

Now we're wishing she were a witch after all. There are a few princesses out there that could stand being turned into frogs.

i hate Ford Amp and am kind of eh about seeing the same show (except two songs) for the ugh-teenth time. i did do a little dance when i filled it in on my calendar ;)

Ha, I laughed at the whole princesses/frogs line. And yes, Rhiannon is still solid after all these years.

I just pictured Stevie in a Walt Disney style fairy godmother outfit and waving a magic wand around and (poof), Bratz dolls turned into frogs.. LOL :lol:

I didn't pull up any tickets that I was pleased with. I don't know why she always plays at the Ford Amp. It is so trashy! And it is always a million degrees outside. I'm not going to go unless I can get amazing seats, or else it is not worth it.

Every time I have been to the Ford Amp, which has been at least five times or so, there are so many drunk, redneck type people who just ruin the whole experience. I hate having to deal with annoying people when I am trying to watch the show. And the Ford Amp always fills its obnoxious people quota and then some.

I live in Orlando and I wish she would come here and play at a small indoor venue like House of Blues or something. That would be so much nicer.

THX! Its fom a speech i gave in my speech and communications class on stevie, the Whole Class busted up with that one to:thumbsup:
