I am a grandma.

Yep, I am a grandma now. Well I technically am. I don't have any children of my own, but my stepdaughter became a mother for the first time on April Fool's Day. Madison Ruth (middle name after my stepdaughter's grandmother) born @ 5:15 p.m., 7 lbs. 13 oz. by C-section. Poor stepdaughter had a time, but she's OK now. My husband is still stunned I think. Says he can still remember holding his daughter when she was just born. Madison is the cutest little thing. :nod:

Thanks for all the congrats. The baby really likes to sleep, good thing for my stepdaughter. My stepdaughter has to wake Madison up sometimes to feed her & change her diaper.

MLD, who said anything about being old? I'm a young grandma. In fact, my boss @ work can not believe that I'm a grandma. He says, "Oh, you're too young to be a grandma". :nod: I'm like, "Thanks". He's says, "No, seriously; you are too young". Must be my wrinkle cream & hair dye. Good stuff! :lol:
