First...... I want to thank you all for providing so much info on Stevie's musical career here and for answering the questions I've asked. You guys rock! Thanks most recently for the links to the 1983 US Fest videos - what a great find.

I've been working on a Waddy Wachtel web site, and after many months it's finally presentable. It's my great honor to give praise and recognition to such a talented and kind man. Here's the link:

http://waddywachtelinfo.com/

If you go to the "Discography / Credits / Gigs" section, you'll find many pages containing Stevie's albums, gigs, etc. with some videos. I hope those pages might help some of you when looking for past info on Stevie.

My requests.......
- I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know of any errors or omissions on those pages, or if I missed anything that should be there.
- I'm looking for any group pics of Stevie with the whole band from the 2001 Trouble in ShangriLa Tour - maybe one of them all taking a bow at the end of a show.
- There's also a section called "Waddy with Friends" that has pics of Waddy with some fans and friends. If you have any pics of you with Waddy, please send me a link to them on the "Contact" page at the site.

Again...... Thank all you wonderful people! What a treasure you all are!

I think this is really great you making a site for Waddy. It's much deserved for such a talented guy, and friend to Stevie for so many years. I am sure your site is fantastic...well, I'm gonna go there now! :xoxo:

Hi Nina,
It looks great. Are you going to put a link to The Penguin for the Q&A material you took from this site, and the articles from the BLA?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like the site.

Yes, Waddy's worked on so many things it's amazing!

Oh, and thanks to those of you who've sent your own pics of you with Waddy. I can't respond to say thanks in person unless you include your email address in your message to the site.

I've added a source link to Penguin for the Waddy Wachtel Interview. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm sorry, but I don't know what the BLA is? The Waddy Wachtel Info web site is simply a gift to him, his fans, Stevie's fans, the other incredible performers he's worked with over the years and their fans and friends.

Thanks again......

Hi Nina,
In the blackcat interview, the 5 articles sited in the interview stored here:

http://bla.fleetwoodmac.net/

BLA stands for "Blue Letter Archives," a name generated from a Fleetwood Mac song, from the 1975 "Fleetwood Mac" album. btw, on another song on from that same album, Waddy plays on "Sugar Daddy." ;)

Nice site Nina! Do you also look after the waddy watchel band myspace?

Thanks, Tango. I didn't get those interviews from the BLA page. I got them through searches on the internet, along with the other articles I included. Do a Waddy Wachtel search, and it'll blow your mind!

Thank you too, Gypsy-Rhiannon. Yes, I run the Waddy Wachtel Band MySpace page for the band.

As Waddy says: Keep on Rockin' n Rollin'!
And I add: When you've got the music in you, the whole world rocks with you!

I hope to see more of you Ledgies at the Joint on a Monday night...... Rockin' It with the rest of us.

My computer is locking up a lot this afternoon, so I can't move around your site.

So here is a short question....Did Waddy play with Bob Seger for a while?

Hi Betsy-

Waddy played on two albums with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band:

1982 The Distance
1991 The Fire Inside

Also playing on those albums are musicians who played with Stevie at that time, including:

Roy Bittan
Bobbye Hall
Russ Kunkel
Danny Kortchmar
Bill Payne
Mike Campbell
Bob Glaub

Lovely website Nina. When Waddy sees what you've done he's sure to be tickled pink. I wanted to comment, you look very familiar. It's probably just a coincidence or maybe I've seen you at a show down in the bayou.
