I'd rip it from my own but the chapter breaks are in funny places and splitting the long track into individual songs is a bit of a laborious task.
Liam uploaded it a while back but the link's gone dead. :( Hopefully someone would put it up again? :wavey:

Is this with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra? I saw the clip on YouTube with Stevie singing Beautiful Child and was amazed at the clarity of the sound. Is this it or is there a full concert recording of any of those shows?

I'm on a new computer and not sure if I want to go hunting down a program to open a rar file.

This is from that same show, and the audio is just as clear.

Google the program WinRAR. It's free and works amazingly for .RAR and .ZIP files.

Thank you so much. A co-worker recommended I go to Download.com. I did a google search on winrar but there seemed to be so many knockoff sites (some of them charging $24 for it, and I didn't want to download it off of some hack site and mess up my computer. I screwed up my last computer by adding so many programs off of random sites that I think I got some nasty stuff in there, so I'm being really careful now.

I wanted to share my journal entry from the other day when I first saw the Beautiful Child clip...

I'm done with work but I can't really leave yet and I'm chatting with [a friend] who sends me a video in YouTube to watch. After I'm done I start cruising around YouTube and pull up Stevie Nicks (of course) and now I'm crying. Why? Well, here is a video of Stevie singing Beautiful Child, one of my favorite songs from their masterpiece Tusk, with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra a few years ago. This is the most amazing rendition of this song I've ever heard.

So, it's raining, my energy is low, I'm tired and a little weak, this song is playing and as I'm reading the comments I see this post...

For you Dominic, my beautiful child, I'll miss you forever, until I hold you in my arms again....you were the best son ever.....tears flow from my heart for you. Love, Mom

So now I'm sitting in my office crying. Geeze. I need donut.

Oh, and speaking of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, did anyone else think that their part in Edge of Seventeen from Crystal Visions sounded like the soundtrack for a 70's action flick. I kept picturing a car chase through the streets of San Francisco, a fruit cart is knocked over, spilling rolling oranges onto the sidewalk. The car being chased comes to a dead end, out of which climbs Stevie Nicks in a fetching Vera Wang dress, and brown leather platform boots, giving one of the pursuing undercover cops a karate chop and the other one a platform boot to the head. She checks her makeup in a small compact, tosses it into her bag and quietly exits the scene.

Oh this is just wonderful. I've been listening to it all day. Thank you so much for posting it. That intro to Rhiannon is just stunning.

Does anyone know why this was never made into an official release?

It supposedly was filmed for an intended DVD release, but Stevie was upset with the end product. Her eyes were closed for a lot of the concert, some say she was high as a kite on weed, and others say she had botox the day/night before to look extra fabulous for the taping and it had an adverse reaction.

Since Stevie's voice is an "acquired taste," I think she and her team realized that there would be no huge market for a complete live CD, so they just decided to toss a few of them onto Crystal Visions.

You know what gets me, in this day of internet downloading you'd think someone at some of these record companies would get that there's enough of a market to sell downloads of songs that might not work for a widespread CD release. Okay, maybe she didn't like the video footage but some of the audio is amazing. I would love to have a pro mix of that Beautiful Child. I mean, that's just stunning. And that Rhiannon. Wow. Why let that go to waste? If those were an iTunes exclusive wouldn't you guys run and download them?
