My Moonlight video with Beautiful Child

[wondergirl9847]

I thought you all might like to see this fanvid I made for the TV show Moonlight. I am a HUGE fan of the show (Okay, okay...obsessed  ) and used Beautiful Child for it. Hope you all like it. :)

Holysmokes Christy! I have never watched this show, but that was a kickass video. Makes me wanna watch!

[wondergirl9847]

Lisa, you totally need to watch Moonlight. It comes on this Friday at 8PM (Central) on CBS. I'm addicted...and I mean that SERIOUSLY. LOL Alex O'Loughlin....yeah, don't get me started on this man...lawd.

[Gypsy-Rhiannon]

That's really good. Maybe I should download this show!

[wondergirl9847]

Pip, you should TOTALLY download Moonlight. In case nobody knows what it's about: Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin) is a vampire who was turned by his ex-wife, Coraline back in the 1950's. He's a private investigator and meets up with an internet reporter named Beth Turner (Sophia Myles) at a crime scene. Incidentally, he saved Beth from Coraline back in the 1980's because Coraline wanted Mick back after he left her. She thought them having a "child" would do the trick.

Anyway, if you like vampires, you should really enjoy the show. Alex is gorgeous, Sophia is gorgeous, Shannyn (Coraline) is a great femme fatale and Jason Dohring (Logan from Veronica Mars) plays a really old vampire and Mick's BFF. Heh.

[Gypsy-Rhiannon]

I've downloaded the first one and I'll give it a go!

[wondergirl9847]

The first 3 are good, but it REALLY GETS GREAT at episode 4 onward. The title of that one is Fever...and you'll get one, trust me.

[estranged4life]

Ya did a good job lil' sister!!! Cool beans!!!

[gretchen]

Christy, this is beautiful, lovely. I love Moonlight.

[wondergirl9847]

Thanks, Brian!! :D

Thank you, Gretchen. :)

Oh, and THIS is just about the most fun ML video I've ever seen. Really, it's all about Alex. The girl who made this lives in France...where they don't have the show, but she watches it online. The show comes on in Australia today for the first time too. We have fans from all over the world watching online.

Awesome Alex Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dRmy4h_IXQ&NR=1)

Nice job, Christy. I almost forgot what a good vocal Stevie gives on BC.

Great video! I know I said I didn't like the show, but since I'm being forced to watch it every Friday, I'm starting to get into it! Did I miss what happened to Cora Lee, or did they not show it yet?

[wondergirl9847]

Gettin' hooked, are ya? ;)

I think we'll find out what happened to her this Friday. It's a Josef-centric episode though, so I'm not really sure. I'm a spoiler-phobe. Heh.

Thank you, Jake. :)

[DavidMn]

Christy, I must admit I watch very little television, but after watching your video, I believe I'll give it a look see at the very least. VERY nice job on the video!

[wondergirl9847]

Thank you, David. :)

This Friday will be the last new episode until next year, unfortunately, BUT, CBS is going to show reruns starting with the pilot next Friday. If you like the show...watch from the pilot onward.

[wondergirl9847]

It comes on in 30 mintues!! :blob1:

[gretchen]

I'm watching it now!!!:wavey:

[wondergirl9847]

Oh dear lawd, this past episode of Moonlight KILLED ME! :( I made another fanvid and this one is for Josh. It's a tribute to him and Beth and their love for each other. I barely made it through this without crying. LOL I loved Josh and will miss him. Love Lasts Forever, Friday's episode, is now my fave ML episode. It was fantastic.

The song is The Water is Wide by Rhonda Vincent with Keith Urban doing background vocals. This song, watching the video or not makes me cry. It is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life.

Christy, I have seen the Moonlight show, and the layout that you made with Beautiful Child is perfect! Great job! As I think about Stevie Nicks, I think she would also be into this show. I remember her mentioning how she was into the "Beauty & The Beast" tv show back in the 80's. The theme of it was about a love that could never really be. I didn't see the last episode that you mention, but I do remember the characters from "Beauty & The Beast" quoting a Dylan Thomas poem, and the repeating of the phrase, "and death shall have no dominion." I guess some of that poem would fit on this show as well. I can imagine Stevie definitely liking the show, and be impressed at how well Beautiful Child fit.

[wondergirl9847]

I agree, and I hope Stevie watches the show. She'd LOVE it. Mick is one of the most romantic characters on TV and his connection with Beth is wonderful. I remember BatB show back in the day, my mom was a big fan. I never watched it. Probably a little too young to appreciate it.

Thanks much, Tango. :)

[gretchen]

I loved B&B, it was so romantic, it really was. Just really lush...Vincent brooding in the darkness...ending up in silhouette through the French doors on Catherine's veranda in the middle of the night...

I am so upset this will probably be the last new episode for a VERY long time.
Stupid strike. I really hope they come to a resolution soon. There's a SLIGHT possibility that if it's over by the end of the month, there could be more episodes, but it's unlikely. :(

20 minutes until the new ep!
