Just saw on the news that several homes have been burned to the ground in Malibu. I don't know if any Ledgies live out there, but if so, i hope everyone is safe.

I don't know if any Ledgies live out there, but if so, i hope everyone is safe.I bet it was set by people, either on purpose or accidentally. The Santa Ana was very weak this time around. We barely felt it in the Santa Ana Canyon! And a friend of mine traveling over the Grapevine barely felt it.

They think it was started in a cave known to be a site for weekend parties.:(

And now the Santa Anas have picked up AGAIN! It's howling a fierce bitch here in the canyon, & the poplars are blowing over backward.

But as a friend of mine once explained to me in the newspaper biz, "It doesn't matter whether you bend over forward or backward -- you're screwed either way."
