So I was listening to a live concert from BTM tour in 1990 (the Manchester date on August 25th) and at the end of Landslide, during the "SNOOOOOOW.... Covered hills, Stevie stops and says "I can't do this without him." Was anyone there and saw this or know what the heck I'm talking about. I just discovered this and it broke my heart to hear her say this.

I always thought that's what she said also, but I don't think she's crying. I have heard her cry during songs plenty of times, and it sounds different.

Well if that broke your heart I hope you never listen to Landslide from the City of Hope benefit. You'd be a blubbering mess by the end of it.

I haven't heard either the manchester or city of hope versions. I have GDW from Manchester but thats it. Strange, I live near Manchester and I've never thought of Stevie or the mac playing near here lol.

I just listened to it and I might disagree with all of you. I think the recording was fairly bad but she sounded good to me. Not as good as this century, but good enough.

I guess I mean your signature picture. It's scary. What's Condoleeza and a bloody woman's hands got to do with Stevie Nicks and /or Fleetwood mac?

The irony of this is that I applaud the code pink people out there who have the courage to stand up and do what needs to be done.
So having said that, you dont extend the same right that you expect people to give you without question.

I'm just kidding. I really love the Irvine Meadows show. Best FM concert from that era, I think. A few years ago, I looked around for the brochure they handed out to the attendees that night. It was a light-blue brochure with Fleetwood's names & signatures on it, some cancer research stuff, & a photo of Robin Anderson & info on her birth & death on the back. I wasn't able to find it, but I will find it yet.

So..... I thought that Landslide was kind of...grotesquely beautiful. Well, not even really that grotesque, I have heard much more so. It was very moving.

Argh, that's the thing with message boards, I didn't mean to ask what happened. I was using the comma as a break in the sentence, adding affect. Plus if I was asking a question, I would've used a question mark. Anyone know what I'm trying to say?

City of Hope took place in 1982. Stevie does do a lot of benefits though, so I'm not sure exactly which one you're referring to.

WHY?! I don't know why you would go out of your way to mock my precious signature! And being a dental professional, I would advise you to stop throwing up at these rates, you're eating away at your enamel, weakening your teeth, allowing staining and many other side effects.
