nope. and I doubt we'll see any either. they put us all through metal detectors. they were serious about the no cameras thing.

Were there any new outfits at all, besides the hat and scarf on Rhiannon? I wish she would toss us a shawl or two. Shes been only wearing the SB one and that god awful gold thing. I prefer the old GDW shawl much more.

ummm - *thinking*

I don't think so. the jacket she wears during Edge is new. at least, I haven't seen it. it's got neat sequined pieces all along the bottom. it's similar to the one we're used to, but different.

me too, tbqh.

Blech. I can't believe she didn't throw on any red for Sara.

Where did this "Stevie MUST wear red for Sara!" meme come from? Yours isn't the first post I've seen.

How is she supposed to mix up the setlist and keep things new and fresh and hip(!) if she has a required wardrobe checklist for each song?

SHEEEEEEEESHHHHH!

Just because she wore so many beautiful red items on the SYW tour, I thought she would throw something in there.

I don't think that's true... Mixing up the setlist isn't to do with clothes much, and I personally would love to see some red for Sara because she doesn't usually go for red at all. So if she was going to do red, Sara was the time to do it.
Does that make sense? A bit mangled, sorry, it's been a long day!

I think red has become the color of Sara. Stevie even says so during some studio chatter. "the red rose of Sara" and such. and I think it all centers around the red poncho (as she calls it) that she wore during the Tusk tour (and as seen in the Sara "video") - I think that's where some people got tickets to the whole "red during Sara" bus, Chuck. :D

ETA: and then she brought out the real red poncho during SYW, further reinforcing the mystery.

That wasn't aimed at you in a personal manner, Jimmy - sorry. But what does "in there" mean, since you mentioned Sara specifically? I'm all for her mixing up the wardrobe altogether. Why does she have to wear gold during GDW? The blue shawl of the WWD video is so much more mysterious and fits the song better, IMO. And a few of the RAL shows opened with GDW and that brilliant long white/powder blue cape.

No, it doesn't make sense to me, which is why I asked (albeit rudely I now realize).

Stevie wore red for Sara in the Tusk video, then 25 years later on the SYW second leg to match the Tusk vid being played behind the stage. It was a theatrical decision. I doubt she wore red every night of the Tusk tour, but she had to the second time around. And I saw Sara several times on different tours in the interim - and never in red.

If anything, she should wear a green or blue green shawl during Sara, so she could figuratively drown in the sea of love during the song. That is, if she were going to orchestrate such things even more than she already does. And I'm saying I don't want her to, and I don't understand why others seems to want that.

SYW the song? I missed the second leg, except for what few single vids I've seen.

And in that reel (Julia?), she's talking about people giving her red roses during Sara and how she doesn't understand how word got around to do so. Not about wearing red, right? If that were the case she would have always worn red for that song, and she didn't again for 25 years.

And, I'm sorry, but that's one rusted, dented, smoke-belching bus if you ask me. ;)

Sorry! As I say, long day ;)

What I was attempting to get at was that these days, wearing red IS mixing up the wardrobe for Stevie. And Sara would be the song in which to do that, as Jazzy explained (red is the colour of Sara).

whoops. I left off the word "tour" - I meant Sara during the SYW tour.

right. you're right. but she does say something about wearing the red poncho. I can't remember what exactly she says though. and look, this is Stevie Nicks we're talking about. that red poncho meant alot to her during Sara...until she sobered up and found another shawl and totally rearranged the story.
And, I'm sorry, but that's one rusted, dented, smoke-belching bus if you ask me. ;)
again, this is Stevie Nicks...or rather, Stevie Nicks fans, we're talking about here. :xoxo:

I think it's fitting she wears red for Sara being that the song is all about loooooove. ;)

And when you crack her open, she's filled with delicious chocolates? I'll go with that.

All aboard!
