It cost me £53 to fill up my car with diesel today! Scary!

Which is about $109. :eek: Do you guys drive as much as we do over here, though? How often do you have to fill up? If you have to fill your tank once a week, I truly don't see how anyone can afford that. :shrug:

I know our litres are different to yours... someone else might know the conversion. I get around 400 miles out of my tank but I do a lot of short journeys around town. I know I would get more if I were doing longer journeys. The prices are going through the roof right now though!

I just checked.. I last filled up on 9th October and that cost me £53 too...so it lasted me almost 3 weeks

In Belgium the prices right now are:

diesel : 0,99 euro/ltr
Super95 : 1,285 euro/ltr
Super98 : 1,422 euro/ltr

and 1 gallon equals 3,7843 liters

Fortunately i can carpool to work (most of the time anyway) with my best friend who lives just around the corner and works next door to where i work.
That means that i only have to tank up about every 3 weeks.
