View Full Version : Ask a Ledgie a Question

I think we did this a few years ago, & it devolved into a very entertaining bout of poo-flinging. So, in that spirit, I thought some of us might like to try it again. Ask a Ledgie of your choice a question. You can also ask a banned or otherwise split Ledgie, but you might not get a direct answer.

My question is for michelle2677:

Michelle, have you ever had a pimple on your spine?

I can answer this. No -- But she has a third nipple.

But is it superfluous, like Krusty The Clown's third nipple?

Oh no, she really has a third nipple. I'd have to say a Pepperoni nipple, not really a Stevie Wonder or Pancake, but a perfect Pepperoni. Its about three inches below her collar bone.

Wow. Thats bizarre. 4 man teats.

My question is for David. David, do you think Peter Pan really was involved in the making of the peanut butter that uses his name? I mean, did they consult him, or just use his name to sell the PB?

My question is for Carrie.
Have you always been a bitch, or did this just start when you came to the Ledge and met Michelle? How does one achieve the level of bitchiness that you have? I would like to be considered of the upper eschelon of bitches.

hey! That was in Knoxville, TN after the show. My brother and I got invited to go have drinks with them at the hotel/bar they were going to downtown. We hung out for about an hour...it was fun. Lindsey was very nice. I even bought him a Bookers bourbon...sadly, he doesnt drink so someone else drank it. But Neale told me later it was a "nice gesture."

I guess that it's not that uncommon....humans are mammals and they just line up....that's what the pediatrician told me....(my daughter has 3!) So does the pediatrician!

It's time I started a new thread on tsunamis.

Brandon, to answer your question. I don't believe Peter Pan was even consulted on that. Besides, I think he's one of the dorkier pans around. The ancient Greek pans with the cloven hoofs & horns & pipes are far rockiner pans.

David has Ludwig always been your main man? When I was still a teenager, I preferred the French impressionists Debussy & Ravel (little did I know then that Ravel was equally a neoclassicist). It wasn't until I reached adulthood before I understood & loved Viennese classicism. As I learned more & more about structure, development of motive, harmonic evolution, & characteristics of form (rondo, variation, etc.), I realized that virtually no music written since Haydn, Mozart & Beethoven lived up to those elements of craft. Plus, to kids taking music lessons from little old ladies whose homes smell like pot roast, the Beethoven myth & the heroic ideal is a powerful pull. A certain type of personality continues to idolize Beethoven into adulthood & beyond. Mozart lovers sometimes say they "grew" out of B. into M., which exemplifies their own personalities & inclinations.

That's cool. I love Beethoven too but don't really get into Mozart. A lot of classical I hear reminds me of the quote of Tony Wilson's quote about jazz that jazz musicians enjoy themselves more than anyone listening to them does. But Beethoven's music has a different effect when I hear it and those that say you grow out of Beethoven to appreciate Mozart sounds like pathetic musical snobs. That's all bull****.

you're gonna have to practice a little harder, biotch

i have not always been a bitch ... in fact, at one time i was sugar and spice and everything nice. then my little brother was born and it was all downhill from there.

i hope this helps you on your quest to become as big a bitch as i am :wavey:

Hmm...well, i look at the list...and there are about 12 people who I am inviting and I'm 98% sure they won't show. People are busy...they work...live a few states away (or in other countries!)...that sort of thing. I'd expect them to send a gift rather than show...and thats ok. I just want them to KNOW i would like them there. Friends of my Dad's, who died last year...that sort of thing. So I'm hoping we can keep it around 75 or so...

ooohh :o my favorite movie is dirty dancing. Ever since I snuck over to my friends house when I was ten to watch it because my mom wouldn't let me see it  idk why really. I mean, I love the movie so much and I can watch it over and over again.

but to add a little more credibility, my second favorite is a tie between the shawshank redemption and the life of david gale. Both are exquisite imo. I could go on and on about why I think they are both great, but that would probably be boring LOL

to mylittledemon-how and why did you become a liddy buck fan?

David Gale WAS a good movie. I was shocked!

Anyway...the Buckingham thing...I started playing guitar when I was about 16 (I suppose it wouldve been 1995) or so. I remember my good friend Josh (who also played guitar) made the comment one day "You play like Lindsey Buckingham." I was like "Who is SHE?" He laughed and said "its a dude, man." And I had heard of Fleetwood Mac...you know I knew the radio songs...just never really listened to them.

My dad had bought me the classical guitar, so that fingerstyle thing just came naturally. I never picked up any Fleetwood Mac stuff until "The Dance"...my brother bought the CD for "Silver Springs"...and then eventually I got the video after hearing "The Chain". I was intrigued by that picking thinking...THIS is the stuff I should be doing. I then spent (and still do) a lot of time developing my electric technique.

I just love playing the way he does...its very "live" and raw. I like Lindsey's performances...his songwriting is a little bizarre, but I dig that about him. Very unique guitarist all around; and most guitarists appreciate him, and that style that I have that was based around his.

^^I know, I LOVE that movie.

and hey, that's cool  :) cool that you kinda did his thing without knowing who "she" was  ;)

LOL what are you on and can i have some?

We Americans don't even know the names of all those itsy-bitsy countries over there, or what suffixes to use in the adjectival forms. We do things big here.
