this police officer in front of my apt complex would turn his f*cking siren off.

max doesn't wake me up at 5:30 in the morning and I get to sleep in.

my hair color turns out okay (just took it off and letting it dry)

I wish:

I would win the lottery and never have to work again.

I could live the life of a rock and roll star - at least for a little while.

Big brother at work would quit worrying about what websites I'm on during the day.

It stayed warm here all year.

The Cubs hadn't choked.

I wish I had the love and adoration I give/get from my doggie from my spouse.

I wish that I were financially comfortable...ALWAYS.

I wish that what comes around goes around, and that occasionally I have a front row seat to watch the burn.

I wish I didn't talk so much.

I wish that the world was a more accepting place for all and that "weird" meant something new and worthwhile to check out.

I wish i could sing one song a piece with Linds, Stevie, Christine, Bob W., Natalie Merchant and Jazmen Flowers live on stage.
I limit it to only one song each because they are busy people. . . but if they wanna do two or more I will probably cave in and agree.

I wish RickyRy, foxyluva, mari, towie and ryan were still around.

was i supposed to only get three wishes?
do i have to give one back?
i guess i'll give up number one, to the disappointment of many:nod::D

I wish my job paid me more.

I wish I could find a new job in which I get paid more and had better hours, and had every holiday off - guaranteed!

I wish actually I could just come into an obscene amount of money and never have to work again :p

I wish for a long and happy life with Maria (of the non-Ledge variety)

I wish for more progress in the realm of glbt rights

I wish that this recent S-CHIP stuff comes back to bite Republicans in the ass come election time!

I wish all those loud ass thumpy car stereos would just all explode...like at the same time. One last loud thumpy hurrah - then beautiful beautiful silence.

I wish I could travel in time and go to a concert of the Rumours tour

I wish I could travel in time and go a night at Studio 54

I wish I could go to space once.

I wish I could fly for free all of my life, to visit China, Nepal, Moscow, SouthAfrica, Sydney, Victoria Falls, Hawaii, Fidji, etc.. etc..

Though it sounds silly, I wish world peace. I mean, with world peace there wouldn't be terrorism, misery, conflicts, etc. People in the world would be happier. We could enjoy airports and flights. We could visit beautiful places of Jerusalem, Arabian countries, Cuba, Asia, etc.

amen.

I wish I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight.

I wish I had a job I loved and enjoyed.

I wish people would treat others as they'd like to be treated and spend 2 seconds being more considerate before speaking or acting.

I wish Christine McVie would change her mind. At least for one show.

I wish I could hang out with some of you guys. With that, I wish that some of my friends were as cool as you.

I wish the last eight years in politics would have never happened.

I wish that I could wake up and not worry about various **** right off the bat.

I wish that I could have a jam session once a week for the rest of my life with my favorite artists. Way too many to list here.

"But most of all, when shadows fall...I wish you looooooooooove" ;)

I wish that Christine would Re-consider and do a FM tour next year along with Stevie, Linds, John and Mick.

I wish we DIDN"T all have to go through "Ticketbastard" each and every time either Stevie or the Mac tour.

I wish the tickets would be a LOT less expensive than they are (Thanks Clearchannel)

I wish that my backstage pass comes to me soon, so I can FINALLY meet Stevie..:]

I wish that...

...Peter Green & Danny Kirwan never experienced the mental health problems they've suffered from all these years.

...John Lennon & George Harrison were still alive & healthy

...canines had as long of a life span as humans

...human euthenasia & assisted-suicide were legal

...people would obey traffic laws (specifically those that pertain to carpool lane usage)

...I didn't have to worry about money

...that I could travel anywhere at anytime.

I wish that..

my longtime school friend did not have breast cancer.

another good friend was no longer in a wheelchair.

all my family and friends will stay mentally and physically healthy till the day they die.

for me the same as the above.

business at work picks up cause i really like this job and want to stay there untill i retire or win the lottery.

i could spend this weekend in the south of Belgium, taking walks, sleeping in, and having gourmet dinners.

I wish my herniated discs would magically slip back in place.

I wish I could eat whatever I want & not gain weight (thanks, Jaz.)

I wish I had a cold beer right now.

I wish I was a little bit taller. No, really. 5'8" would be good.

I wish my family wasn't scattered all over the world, but if they have to be I wish I could see them more often.

I wish I had a cabin in the Adirondak Mountains.

smidge is not sneaky AT ALL. i got up from the desk and within 5 seconds i heard her jump up there. i actually had to wrestle it out of her mouth because it had a toothpick in it. but yeah, as you said ... i didn't want it even though i got it back

Interestingly - I never even taught Clancy to do that- but ever since I got her - she eats something odd and I yell "DROP IT!" and she does! It's amazing.

But there are times when I've been too late - like the time I left this giant brownie (it was wrapped in a paper bag, I thought I was safe) out - and she ate it.

Bag and all.

I had to induce vomitting and was laughing when the first thing to come up was the bag - with logo still readable

yeah, funny how they grow into their names. people too ... i was almost named ashley

naturally, you would have been slimmer (possibly with an eating disorder?), cool(er), popular, and shallow. Also I think your hair would be blond or red. And, in fact, your parents would have had more money, and spent it on you. They would be shallow, too. That last one is key to the rest.
You would also elicit more free drinks, partly due to your boobs.

I didn't make these rules up, it's in the name guide. You would also boast a sprinkle of cute but not too obtrusive freckles. Then you would complain about them, as if you weren't gorgeous anyways. People would roll their eyes at you or talk behind your back much more than they do now.

Downsides to "Ashley": You can't be in band, you can't be as smart, instead of being lesbionic you would have some tool boyfriend and do what he said, and you would think Stevie was great no matter what she did. Fangirl squealing at concerts aside. ;) You would also have a trendy yupford name, that millions of lamos would share. You would lament that, 'cause Ashley is a pretty name, but all those other Ashleys ruined it. You would declare yourself the only "real" Ashley. Eyes would be rolled.

I dunno, sounds like you came out on the right end of the name game... Although, according to the guide, you should love horses. And have wide but athletic shoulders.

Making up stuff about names is fun. And, I think I was almost named Felicia or Amethyst. Although I hope I made up "Amethyst", it's a vague recollection, and doesn't sound like my mom, but you never know. I know she didn't name me Felicia because there could be a nickname "Flea" or something like it. My mom was big on no nickname.

A better job (May happen this Friday, Please PRAY for me)

That I was a person who is more trusting of those in my personal life.

A larger bedroom, My music collection has grown exponentially this year (IM guessing I have bought around 200-300 cd's this year alone)

That Oct.22th (Today) wasnt such a sad time for my family (I lost my Father on this day 30 years ago)

and better health, MY headaches are getting worse and my meds dont appear to work as well as they once did.

OMG, word. O'Hare airport is my enemy. I've never had any trouble with customs anywhere in the US, except in Chicago. They almost made me miss the first Stevie show in Vegas. WTH?

It took me 11 hours to get through immigration so it's a good job I didn't have an onward connection. It was the first time I had used my Permanent Residence Card (green card). Huge mistake. Stick with the EU passport, it's easier:) .

Stick with the EU passport, it's easier:) .I did have my EU passport, but still it took way too long. I was supposed to have 2.5 hours to get to my connecting flight, but what no one told me was that if you have a connecting flight *in* the US, you need to go through customs in the first American city you arrive in, instead of your city of destination. What that meant was that I had to claim my luggage and check it in, again. Had I known all that, I would have booked a different connecting flight, but the travel agency said it was fine, I would have enough time.

Didn't you fly in from the Middle East? That's probably why they gave you hell. 11 hours? I would have died! :distress:

Just to save me answering another PM about the DVD’s:rolleyes:.

I told someone several months ago that all the shows at Las Vegas are filmed and you can buy them in China along with many other things not commercially available in the US. The person in question likes Celine Dion, didn’t really believe me so asked me to buy the DVD’s of her shows in Vegas. So in one of my suitcases were 78 Celine Dion DVD’s:nod:. I could have bought more, but thought 78 made my point and was about all I could carry.

Having them set out on a table whilst passengers walked passed was probably the most excruciatingly embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my life and that is saying something .

And no, I wont be buying any for anyone here.

And Bill are you the new Andre/Blackwidow?:wavey:
