Spaced
Big Train

There's a heap more but that's all that come to mind at the moment. I base my life around British comedies so there'll be many others but I have a mind blank.

Anyone else a fan of Spaced?

SuzyOh! You made me sit up in my seat. If you know Black Books then you'll know of the Spaced people. It's all an extended family. Spaced was by Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright and all the actors in Black Books, Spaced, Big Train, Shaun of The Dead & Hot Fuzz appear in each others stuff.

I'm not a big fan of the series Black Books (but I do own all 3 seasons on dvd) 'cause I'm a huge fan of Dylan Moran, he's my favourite stand-up but he didn't use his full potential in the show I don't think. Have you seen his standup dvd Monster? It's brilliant. I definitely recommend Spaced though, same era and similar group of people but just much more enjoyable in my opinion.

I really never heard of it so i Googled and found it's a Channel 4 series.
We only get the 2 Beebs on the cable, so i guess unless one of the dutch or belgian networks runs it, there's not much chance i'll get to see it.
Dylan Moran i only know from the Black Books series and he's not just funny, he's also very cuddly

Did you see Grumpy Old Women / Men ? Looooooved it ! (but maybe that's because some of it is just too familiar  )

And did you ever watch That's Life! with Ester Rantzen ? British humor at it's best. It left me rolling on the floor sometimes.

And for the dutch Ledgies : another favorite of mine is "Het Peulengaleis".

Now I'm thinking about changing my phone number, apparantly some guy thinks a little making out gives him a free ticket to my bed and he won't stop calling me.

Rusty Hamer on "Make Room for Daddy" was one of the funniest child stars of his day. He died tragically.

In more contemporary times, I have enjoyed Dave Faustino & Christina Applegate, whose brother & sister act is one of the most memorable pairings on TV.

I watch ALOT of TV and enjoy quite a few shows, but these are my 100% absolute faves...in other words...I bought the DVDs. LOL

The Monkees
Blackadder
The Office (both versions)
Coupling
Frasier (don't have the DVDs yet, but I want them all)
Wings
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (asking for the DVDs for Christmas) Everyone should be watching this show....it's Seinfeld on crack. Sesly. One of the funniest, most irreverent shows I've ever seen. It's on FX Thursdays at 9PM Central. Don't watch ER...it sucks these days. Watch THIS.
