do you have Silver Springs from The Dance Tour, Atlantic City (not sure of the date). It's when Stevie loses it at the end and LB has to finish the song.
Thanks

I have this performance on video, not audio. But although I haven't watched this in many years, I don't recall Lindsey having to finish it for Stevie. I think you might be referring to the infamous Reno, Nevada show from the SYW Tour where Lindsey had to finish Goodbye Baby for Stevie?

Didn't Stevie record some demos for the Rock A Little album...I can't remember the names of them...I think one was "At The Fair" and another was "Mirror Mirror". I have "Mirror Mirror" but not the others.

She Still Loves Him/She Loves Him Still is a demo from that time. I don't know where she wants the adverb, however!

I didn't think that there was a video of this performance. It is from The Dance tour and it is Silver Springs. I love the one from Reno too but this performance was incredible. I've only heard the audio because I didn't think there was a video. If you could post it, that would be great! I'm not sure what show it was at but I think it could have been AC. I know the Landover performance is really great, too.
Edit: Oops! I didn't see the other thread where it's posted.

Ricky is one of those few songs that don't cut it for me so I wouldn't of saved it if I had it and Keep Me There is a commercially released song so I can't post it. Sorry.

If you mean Christine's "Butter Cookie Keep Me There" on the Rumours Disc 2, I didn't mean that one. It was another song that was a instrumental version of "The Chain" where Christine plays keyboard on it. It's been a while and I thought it was called "Keep Me There." I could be wrong about the title but I just remember it wasn't titled "The Chain" when I downloaded it. If anybody knows and could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

If you or someone can ressurect my demos beginning with the letter C (because I don't know how to do it) I have The Chain writing process parts one -three listed and if the links are still good that might be what you're looking for.

I know. I listened to Butter Cookie this morning but wasn't exactly clear on how The Chain came out of that. Perhaps it was the chemical atmosphere of Sausalito?

I knew it was "The Chain" so I wasn't sure why it was labeled "Keep Me There" the first time I downloaded it. I just assumed that particular demo was being passed around under that name. I had asked once before about "The Chain" instrumental and some wasn't sure which one I meant.

Livvy, you've just made my night. That version of Castaway you posted is my ultimate favorite out of all the ones floating around and all the files I've heard so far have this strange lowering of pitch and tempo about half way through, as if the cassette player or turntable it was being ripped from suddenly started running slower. It's always been a frustration of mine because I used to have a cassette boot of this and I knew it didn't do that. This is the clearest I've ever heard of this recording. As it stands the source isn't all that great and I've always wished a master of this would surface somewhere. It's my favorite of all Stevie's demos. Years later when she tried to do it again with the girls it sounds like she's trying to do it from memory and not getting all the chords right, her take is almost cocky, as if she's leaving the person behind and proud of it. Changing one simple word, from "I could leave today" to "I should leave today" changes the whole tone of the song for me. I like the understated sentiment of the original and the way she sings, "...and I guess I miss you". It's like looking back on a love affair and wistfully regretting how things turned out.
I've asked this before here a long time ago but does anyone have any info on this song at all? Who inspired it, where this recording was made? Anything?
Thanks again, Livvy. I've got a great big smile on my face. :)
Sincerely,
Don
