Maybe someone can help, as I don't know exactly

Thanks! If you keep posting, is there anyway you can honestly grade the audio files in your posts? I love collecting, but I guess I snob out with audio quality. The masters are fantastic, but if you can give us an idea of the quality of the audio (especially live tracks), it would help greatly and not waste time reviewing the tracks.

Hi Richard,

I listen to the beginning of a few tracks on each CD before I upload,
and I don't plan on uploading anything where the quality is
poor, or muffled, etc. So, I do a bit of "filtering" before I upload,
I hope that will work out for you :)

Hi Kathy, check out the master reels thread over at Seven Wonders. It's incredible. I can't keep up and I'll bet if there aren't any demos from Street Angel, there will be. But I think there are. I got Kick it the other day. I know I have Unconditional Love. They are there. Just go look. I'm having to dump old stuff I don't listen to much anymore to accommodate all these new files on my drive. I don't care though because the demos are in some cases better than the records.

i can almost taste the sarcasm there . . . jeebus. . . or should i say 'timeless'.

anyway . . . i simply pointed kathy (who shows every sign of being a sincere and kind soul) in your direction and gave her a paraphrase of your answer to a question about the much delayed, prepaid fanzine that i had seen in a different thread.

kathy asked the question over a week ago
you have been very active at 7w -
and why not, fan royalty and all . . .

and just curious where you got the smiley getting roses thrown at it?

Since some of you are members on both sites I wanted to ask you all a quick question. I registered also for 7W on monday & haven't heard anything back. Do they allow new people in? I would have thought that my account would have been activated by now.. it's been 5 days??? Hmmm...

I'm glad that I was accepted here though! At least one place was nice enough to accept me! LOL :wavey:

I am sorry, I don't understand?
I was thanking you for your reply about the fanzine?
"jeebus"? I am not sure what that means, either?
I actually answer all of Kathy's private emails about the fanzine,
and I try to answer here or at 7W when people in inquire about it.
I won't be doing anything with issue 2 until all of the issue one copies are mailed out, by the end of this month.

So again, thanks so much for your reply,
and I am not sure what you meant with this one,
but thank you for the first one!
I wasn't being "sarcastic" at all toward you, in my reply,
and I am sorry you read it that way?

Didn't want to make a big thread about this on its own, so I'll just post it here in this thread for those of you don't post on Seven Wonders.

Sydney, Australia 10-6-86

Awesome show! Great quality except for a few times here and there where the sound cuts out. Awesome adlibs throughout!

1) Outside the Rain/Dreams
Cuts out briefly during Dreams.

2) Talk to Me
Very similar to Red Rocks

03) I Need to Know
Violet and Blue ending

04) No Spoken Word

05) Beauty and the Beast

06) I Can't Wait
Labeled as 07 but it is the 6th song. My bad.

07) Leather and Lace
Why did she have loudmouth come on and ruin the song??

08) Stand Back
Like her acapella "You could be standin in it...doo do do do do do do"

09) Stop Draggin My Heart Around

10) How Still My Love
This song alone would have been worth the whole show! My favorite performance of this ever! Would kill to see a video of it!

11) Edge of Seventeen
"This is not the world This is just the edge of it!" *Edge growl proceeds...Freakin awesome!

12) Rhiannon
Very interesting adlibs in the piano intro

13) Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You

Enjoy!

I've been a member here for a while but I don't post very often so I thought I'd jump in and join this thread to raise my post count a bit. ;)

For the past several weeks I've been posting a bunch of stuff in the Trades forum over at the other board. Basically, I've been going through all my boots and posting them a tour at a time. So far, I've completed the Bella Donna tour and am working my way through Stevie's miscellaneous performances from 1981-present. I started doing it because of how the CD a Day thing petered out so quickly leaving a lot of people wondering what had happened and looking forward to shows/discs that were no longer being posted. I had traded a few times with Tiff and she had a fantastic collection that a lot of people would have been thrilled to see posted either at this board or the other one.

I've always loved sharing what I've collected over the years. It bothers me that there will be a lot of people at the other board who would have been able to download what's been or will be posted but no longer can. Hopefully, they will find thier way here so they can download these shows/discs and add them to their collections.

So, all that being said, eventually I'll try to get almost my entire boot collection up here. What I have on cassette I won't be able to transfer to post right now because I just don't have the time. Where I have more than one source for a show I will take the better quality source and post it rather than posting two or three copies of the same show. For some tours, like Rumours and Tusk my collection is woefully small. If anyone has any shows that I do not it would be great if they could fill in the blanks. I won't promise you'll get a CD a day but I will get everything up as quick as I can.

Everything being posted is in MP3 format at no less than 128kbps (for files I downloaded originally from fan sites). The majority of everything is 160kbps or higher. For the lossless people, some of this stuff is available in lossless format at the Thrown Down torrent site or from Dime and Trader's Den.

To start off with, here is everything I have from Stevie's 1981 Bella Donna Tour with the exception of the audio from the "In Concert" video (if that can be posted here I'll be glad to upload it):

Live at The Summit in Houston, Texas November 28, 1981 (2 CD's)
Grade & Special Notes: B. Source/Lineage: unknown mic>unknown record deck>transfer from master cassette>flac. Taper: mystical crow. Transfer: markp. Please note that this is the exact same show as the one commonly circulated as "Dallas, Texas November 29, 1981". For years, the same show was circulated under different dates and venues. This copy is direct from the taper/transferer and is definitely the Houston, Texas show.

I taped this one on my Sony Walkman. It was a pretty hot show--small audience, Stevie overweight in a top hat & trenchcoat for the Petty portion. There was one other song she did with the Heartbreakers but I didn't get it taped: "Don't Bring Me Down" (the old song from the 1960s, not the ELO song). Linda Ronstadt sang a few songs, Jackson Browne, &c. Henley was the MC for all the acts. There were T-shirts with the venue & dates & roster on the back. Chris Willman or somebody reviewed the show in the L.A. Times. It would be great to get the missing song from somewhere.

WOW Saint Bernard -- you really ARE a Saint, in every sense of the word.

I worry though, that if the other board ("whose name cannot be mentioned" - OK, so I rented the latest Harry Potter movie last night....) finds out what you are doing, is there any danger that you will be banned and can't get any more music for yourself or to share with us? I'd hate to see your kindness to us get misinterpreted.

(I requested to become a member over there 3 times, and got "regretably" rejected 3 times. I had to laugh over the term "regretably" which was used in my rejection E-mail. I don't think the term was used sincerely...)

So, Saint Bernard...you are now the patron Saint of Lost Shared Music....

Your presence here is greatly appreciated.....

Bravo! and ¡Muchas, Muchas GracÃ*as!

I don't think it will be a problem since firstly 7W don't own these bootlegs, and secondly they are from saintbernard's own collection.

Hi "TrackAGhost"!
Actually, the CD player on my computer no longer works, so I have no way to take the tracks off the CDs I received to make MP3s out of them.
As soon as I am able to get a new computer or get the CD ROM fixed, I will be able to post more tracks.

Thanks for not using nicknames for me, since you don't know me.

Barbara, if you don't mind be adding this, someone last asked you when you'd be posting new clips. They asked 10/16. You responded 10/25 that you are completing your fanzine and after such you'd have more time. Now you are not binded/obligated to be sharing these, but that was really the point of the collection being given. I'm just saying that after 2+ months, you can see where some people would be wondering. I even said something about that on the other board, and there was no response. My statement here isn't being snarky, and you don't have to let people know your everyday biz, but if you had stated that after the fanzine something else had come along, it wouldn't seem as though you'd forgotten. You understand what I am saying?

I am sorry it seemed I had forgotten. I certainly did not. It was MY idea to post the cds. I am sure Tiffany would not want fighting over
her collection, that was not the thought that it was given in, which was a very Positive and nice gesture.

It was my thought that Tiffany offered the collection to the "first person who PMed her" with nothing in the post about "only if you will share it on the Internet", that was MY idea, after I won. I am sorry I am not able to share right now, but people bitching because I cannot, really doesn't endear me to want to.

I didn't see anything in Tiff's original post about the "point of the collection being given" as being to copy and post all the cds to message boards, Tiff just said she wanted to let it go, and hoped a fan would enjoy it. The sharing was all my idea, and I am sorry that I have not been able to continue that, I should have known if for some reason I wasn't able to, I would get the snarky quips.

As soon as I am able to, I will, no dates given or implied.
And I didn't see your post on the other board, I don't read all the threads, maybe it was one I posted in but never returned to, I don't have time or interest to go to all the Stevie message board, to check them all 24/7. I belong to many "non celebrity" craft boards, and there is just no time to see it all.

I don't wish to fight with anyone, and hope you all have a great New Year.
Seems like a lot of people are sharing here, so I don't understand the problem, that I am not able to right now.
All the best,
Barbara

Hi "[email protected]"!
Just like sending things out on time from your "Enchanted Mirror" shop, or even your much-discussed fanzine, it seems to me you always have some kind of excuse for these things.
Happy New Year!
xxxx

Hi "TrackAGhost",
Perhaps you run your own business in a more timely manner than I do, and if so, good for you!
I wouldn't worry about mine, or my "excuses".
Everyone gets their stuff, and everyone loves it.
If you don't want to wait awhile for custom made items,
I assume there are many places you can order knock offs online and get them in a week!
The time frame for orders from my Enchanted Mirror store is CLEARLY stated in the FAQ and ABOUT US pages.
I have been in business since 1999, so I am doing something right.
All the best to you, and your endeavours.

Having ordered from you, I can't say that was my experience. It was a real hassle getting the stuff and I personally wasn't delighted with what I received. But I hope you enjoyed my money.
But, back to the CD a day thing, you know if you promise something you shouldn't be surprised when people call you on it when you don't deliver. Fortunately, I think Jen/saintbernard has more than made up for it all, so a huge thanks to her.

I am so sorry to hear that you were not happy with your purchase, unfortunately, I don't know who you are by the screen name, and apparently you never let ME know you were not happy with it, or I would have been more than happy to work out a solution. I have no idea who you are, or what you purchased, but I am sorry to hear that.

I am glad Jen/SaintBernard has been posting demos, and such, so that the main purpose of the idea was carried on, even if I was unable to do so, and I should have let everyone know what happened with my CD ROM, that is totally my fault for just stopping, and not explaining why.
Thank you, Jen.

If I am ever able to post the MP3s again, I will most likely post them on the 7 Wonders board, as just coming here these two days, so much Negative energy has been directed at me, that I choose not to return here, again. I think you guys will not lose any sleep over that, LOL.

Hi Pip! I was just signing off, and deleting my sig, etc.
I will also post the links on Thread Jackers, as well, of course :) I didn't mention that, as I think most of the folks here are more familiar with 7W, and members of that one!

Sorry, I meant you have to be a paying member to view those forums. For a couple of weeks now I think. It was to encourage memberships to help with the running costs of the site. Lots of people protested about it especially because they didn't give a warning it was happening, just did it.

Barbra
My Short Response:

You came here and called it your new home when you were booted off 7w.
You 'won' a box of goodies that a ledgie was giving to another ledgie.
You promised to share the box of goodies with all ledgies.
You started off strong and everyone was very appreciative.
You were welcomed back at 7w.
You stopped uploading without any explanation and stopped posting here. You were posting over at 7w. (not uploading over there, just posting, so you were around and could have came here and said somthing about the broken cd-rom, is my point)
You have taken a few people's complaints and tried to call it a "tone of this board" issue and you turned it into a reason to take your box of goodies and not come back.
You even gave us a parting shot with 'if i am ever able to upload again, i won't be posting them here.' - Did you have your tounge out while you typed this?
How classy.
and convenient.

Hopefully someone who has access to wherever you do post them will be kind enough to share them with us.

My Long Response:

I am glad Jen/SaintBernard has been posting demos, and such, so that the main purpose of the idea was carried on, even if I was unable to do so, and I should have let everyone know what happened with my CD ROM, that is totally my fault for just stopping, and not explaining why.
Thank you, Jen.

Although i think it is fantastic that people have added some wonderful uploads, I thought the main purpose of the thread was YOU sharing what was given to you by someone on this board, not just another place for anyone to post random mp3s. When you were gifted the box of goodies you went on and on about how you were gonna make sure that EVERYONE on the ledge shared in your good fortune.

Why are you surprised that people were asking what happened when you completely stopped without explanation? There was plenty of positive energy coming your way while you were doing what you said you were gonna do. Then, when you were welcomed back at 7W with open arms, suddenly all the love you had for this place was gone and the uploads to this thread dried right up. So then, who created the negative energy?

If I am ever able to post the MP3s again, I will most likely post them on the 7 Wonders board, as just coming here these two days, so much Negative energy has been directed at me, that I choose not to return here, again. I think you guys will not lose any sleep over that, LOL.
:wavey:

Oh come on Barbra.
"IF"?
"IF you are ever ABLE to post MP3's again?"
- you actually think in this computer age, that you won't ever again have access to a computer with a cdrom?

Puhlease!

As I said, I wish you all the best, but this is just not the place for me.
I thought maybe it (the overall tone and feeling/general replies to posts, etc) had changed over the years, but unfortunately, I see it has not.

seems it was just a few months ago that you were commenting just the opposite. All it took to change your mind was 3 or 4 people questioning why you weren't doing what you said you were gonna do?

For those of you who welcomed me, and were kind, THANK YOU....
For those who don't like me, your day to REJOICE has come :blob1:

you really believe that people here would rejoice at something like this/you?

I think you over-estimate how much people are thinking about you, but I could be wrong. People call people on their BS over here, usually jokingly at first, but this doesn't sit well with you. Why try to turn your inaction around and blame it on the tone of the board?

For EVERYONE...
Enjoy your New Year, and I wish you all much Love, Joy and Peace.

Barbara

I think it would be a shame for anyone to post what audio they wish to share solely on 7W and not here or at other boards as well. This stuff is meant to be shared with anyone who would like to enjoy it.

That is why I think the decision made by the moderators and owners of the other board was so wrong and unfair to everyone. There are other ways to manage the costs of running a board like that one. Ways that would be fair to every member. I don't feel that the contribution someone makes to a forum should be judged by how much they are willing to or can pay or by how high thier post count is. There were a lot of people who added a lot to the now off-limits sections in content or even just good humor and pleasant conversation that now are not able to. And that doesn't do the board as a whole any good at all. :(

Everything I am posting I am putting up because I want to. And I mean for it to go to anyone who wants it and not just a select few. No one should feel they have to pay (for whatever reason) to access what traders love to share and are willing to share for free with no strings attached, IMO.

I do apologize to anyone I may have offended with anything I've said in this thread. It wasn't my intention.

I am currently uploading the Wild Heart tour. It should be posted in another day or two. :)

I don't post here much - I am thankful for what demos have been posted since I am still new to getting into Stevie's demos.

I am a younger Stevie fan, and I want to say how childish it sounds to be fighting over -what demos are being posted or not. It's really not worth your energy to get upset over something like this now is it? If it is worth it your a pretty lucky person because I wish I had more free time to make it worth my time to fight with people.

This post isn't meant in a "fighting" tone, just a calm tone because I think it's needed. There are more ways to get demos then Barb's posts and I know that already after finding my first demos less then 6 months ago. :)

Um, I can't quote Tiff's post on the board. I was 100% confident that SHE had mentioned something about whomever gets them carrying on the torch of sharing. But, I could totally be wrong. And as someone else said, if you yourself said you would share w/out Tiff's influence of the notion, then you ought to continue thru w/ it. Notice it's not me sharing. I mean, I couldn't possibly take on the task, and Tiff was seeking someone that could.
With all the BS of "that other board" nonsense, many people that are offended by it are seeking what they had offered over here on the Ledge. Taking your toys and retreating is uncool. I think more anger is directed at that board than you per-say. The fact that you post there, and the music is gone, would be an indication to some that you are posting there and not here. How would anyone know any different? If you can't get on that thread to see, people don't know.
And I didn't see your post on the other board, I don't read all the threads, maybe it was one I posted in but never returned to, I don't have time or interest to go to all the Stevie message board, to check them all 24/7.
And reading every thread...jeesh, I'm not indicating that you have the time to do that. It sounds so hostile, and holier than thou. My initial post to you again I reiterate was not a slander or Barb-bash.....just a point I think needed to be made. No big deal if you didn't see that post on 7W. You see it here, and hopefully get my drift about people's ?. Again I state, you can take that box and do what you please, but I think a bunch of people here were really keen and hopeful each day to see a new show/demo, and w/ it gone, it's a bummer. All others sharing are generous as well. THAT is what makes the boards a pleasantry.

I was suprised to hear that they sell stuff over there.

That site is ridiculous, which is a shame 'cuz it was once really fun and informative. I was one of the original banned members, though now I'm reinstated. I had no idea why I was orig. banned other than I agreed to join another site I was invited to join where I guess the founding members were considered radicals or some other shizz. I have no idea why I was reinstated there either as I never go there. I also refuse to pay to view photo threads and will never post anything from my vast photo collection there. I'll post the pics here and I will gladly become a supporting member here if someone will let me know what I need to do. Thank you.

Lessee, you guys have you on rhythm guitar & lead vox, a bassist, a drummer (he's a great drummer btw) & a lead guitarist. Plus the lady singing. You should ask a keyboardist to join! It would take a little bit of the burden off the rhythm guitar & sort of round everything out nicely.

there is a keyboard guy (and also another vocalist) out of shot in the Why? video. Typically I will either have a keyboardist and a lead guitar or 2 lead electric guitars to go along with my acoustic. Depends on mood and schedules. :)

Thank you.

Hey Ruthie!!

It's Arlene, how are ya? I can't agree more with what all you just said. Hope your doing great, as it's GREAT to see you here!~:xoxo:

Hugs to you,

Part way through uploading this tour Medifire started acting up more than usual. I'm having a terrible time of the site timing out or going to a "page not found" error message while the files are "validating". It took me seven tries to get Mediafire to take the first disc of the Ames, Iowa show and it just refuses to take the second disc without timing out or failing validation.

So, I have switched to uploading the files to Sendspace. While they won't stay active for an unlimted amount of time like they will through Mediafire, they will stay active as long as there is interest in them giving anyone who wants or needs these shows the opportunity to get them.

In the time it took me to try and get Mediafire to take the second Ames disc I was able to upload five discs to Sendspace. I know Sendspace has its quirks but at least I'm able to get the shows online which is more than I can say for Mediafire at the moment. I do apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and I will do my best to keep the files active for as long as I can by periodically downloading them myself.

Live at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey June 24, 1983 (2 CD's)
Grade & Special Notes: A-. Jennifer, add to your notes that there's an orchestra backing her on "Beauty."

Live in Philadelphia, PA 6/27/83 (2 CD's)The final round of the chorus of "Dreams" here is my favorite of just about ever -- at least I think it's this show. It's the final "Women, they will come & they will go" line. Could someone post just that part? I love it! It's Wild Wild Hearted!

Live in Landover (Largo,) MD 7-7-83 #1 (1 CD)
Grade & Special Notes: A/A-.
Setlist: Gold Dust Woman, Outside the Rain, Dreams, I Need to Know, Sara, If Anyone Falls, Leather and Lace, Stand Back, Beauty and the Beast, GypsyThere's an audience recording of this show that has the whole concert on it, but the sound quality is considered the worst of any tape from the tour (with the exception of the Forum).

Live at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, IL 7/18/83 (1 CD)
Grade & Special Notes: A-/B+ quality.
Setlist: Gold Dust Woman, Outside the Rain, Dreams, I Need to Know, Sara, If Anyone Falls, Leather & Lace, Stand Back, Beauty & the Beast, Gypsy, How Still My Love, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Edge of Seventeen I have Rhiannon from this one. Isn't it on this? At the end of it, Stevie sings, "Never can say goodbye" -- the Motown song -- & then says, "If you ever really knew me, you'd know you don't say goodbye to me. You say, like, 'Later.' "

Live at Lake Compounce in Bristol, RI September 9, 1983 (2 CD's)
Grade & Special Notes: B-/C+. This show is a bit hard on the ears in places! [/b]Then I think it's been degraded with copying. My old tape of it is one of the best-sounding from the tour.

Live at The Forum in Los Angeles, California October 2, 1983 (2 CD's)
Grade & Special Notes:I taped this one. I'm ashamed. How did they get two CDs out of it? I posted "How Still" & "Stand Back" a few years ago on the ledge because I loved the performances so much.

Live at the Sportatorium in Miami, Florida November 5, 1983 (2 CD's)

Thanks for all the hard work, J.

The note about the orchestra on the Meadowlands show has been added.

I don't believe I've ever come across the full Largo show. I'd certainly like to hear it if anyone has it!

I re-checked my copy of the Chicago show and it doesn't have Rhiannon on it. I don't remember if I ever downloaded a complete version of this show from a fan site or not. I'll check my old data discs to see.

I agree about the Bristol show degrading through copying. Sadly, I think that's happened to a lot of shows.

You shouldn't be ashamed of the LA show at all. If you hadn't taped it it probably never would have come into circulation otherwise.

I'll make sure to get the Miami show upped next. ;)

Shel, thank you SO much for the photos! That's an awesome photo shoot!

More links will be added over the next day or so.

Yep, I've tried that, ten or twelve times, but it keeps coming up. Even if I leave it a few hours and try the same link again, the same "full capacity" message keeps coming up.

Any ideas?

PS: This is just on some links, a lot of them work immediately. :)

carrie721

01-27-2008, 05:32 PM

hmmm, that is odd. i think some ISPs block certain download services, i know people who can't download from certain sites but have no trouble with others. sorry i can't help :sorry:

saintbernard

01-28-2008, 02:49 AM

When Sendspace says "Sorry, the free service is at full capacity", what does that actually mean?

Does it mean that the file is no longer available for download, in which case I should give up trying to download it?

Or does it mean that it's temporarily unavailable and I should try again later?

It's wrecking my head! :blob2: I don't get to check the board very often these days and to come along and find I've missed loads of great music is so depressing! :(

I've had the same error message come up when I've tried to download things from there. I've usually waited a minute or so and tried again and it worked OK. There have been a couple of times when I've had to try opening the link several times before finally getting it to work. Like you say, it's just with some links. Some are problematic while others work immediately with great download times and no hassles.

I'd love to find a really good file sharing service that is both easy to upload and download to/from. I think they've all got thier problems and headaches.

I'm inclined to go along with the ISP thing. I have a lot of trouble out of Mediafire and Rapidshare.

There are times I can't download anything from Mediafire because I get some kind of message telling me that there are no servers available or something like that. And anything I try to upload to that site that is larger than 20-25 MB usually takes several tries if I'm able to upload it at all.

I can't get Rapidshare to work for me to save my life. It always tells me I've downloaded my limit and to come back in an hour even if I haven't even visited that site in months.

If you keep having a problem with the links let me know which ones are giving you a hassle and I'll see if I can get them uploaded somewhere else so you can get the files.

Mark & Brian Show 1994

I love how fun and happy she sounds in this. And to hear her giggle like that just melts my heart.

There was a great interview from On The Record with Mary Turner (I think) sometime in 1990 where she was talking about the early days of her career. It's a little intense because she talks about how Rock and Roll is a guy's world and she got by because she was pretty and could make good sandwiches and would pretend to be stupid so they would talk around her but then she would go home and write everything down. It's really a great interview. Does anyone have this?

Ok I know I can be really OC about this stuff, but I've waited a long time to get the Nicky Horne interview and now the link for the first part is still not working. Can anyone post a working link for that? I'd just hate to finally get it but not have the first part. Thank you in advance...

Hey SoulDrifter_333,

I just wanted to tell you that I'm thoroughly enjoying everything you have shared...both here and in the Lindsey forum...and in my mailbox....and on my computer.... etc. etc.

The interviews are intriguing...and I think my favorites. I can read an interview in a magazine, but to hear the voice inflection (sp) and the pauses in speech give me a better take on how something is said, and how it is meant to be taken. For me, there is more direction in hearing it from the source. Also, while some of the anwers may be *canned*, some of the questions, throw the celeb off his/her game, and you get some honest moments.

I won't go on and on like a Sunday sermon...I just wanted to say thanks and keep posting.

¡Aye Carumba! SoulDrifter

I like these interviews. Stevie sounds so much like she's having fun.

I listened to an interview last night from SYW and one from Crystal Visions, to me, she seems more guarded...or maybe tired (?)

I wonder if she still has fun, or if it is more work these days than fun....

sywlindseyfan

02-14-2008, 05:45 PM

hmm that's an aweosme way of thinking i never thought about that betsy....But I certainly most hope she is still having fun, on and off stage....or maybe her maturity level went about like a trillion during the dance era. Just as Christine said in an interview posted somewhere on here, that she noticed Stevie's personality, was toned down and a little bit more seious than "back in the day"

I believe these are different interviews, I've had these for a few years now and haven't played them in a while. I've gotten so much good stuff from here, so I wanted to do my part and it didn't look like these interviews have not been posted before.

Thank you so much soul_drifter for posting these. :)

Is it just me or is track 11 missing? It seems that track 14 is there twice but no track 11. Anyone else having this problem? Is it possible there is no track 11?

Yes, I noticed the same thing, but haven't had a chance to listen to both 14's to see if the are different.

I know there are a lot more shows from 2005-present circulating but I pretty much lost all interest in collecting FM/SN shows in 2005-2006. What I've got here is what I downloaded from Dime, Traders Den, ThrownDown or they are some of the last shows I bothered trading for. Perhaps someone who has more shows from 2005-present can fill in some of the blanks.

I was wondering, are there multiple Jim Ladd interviews?
On InHerOwnWords.com, they quote Stevie from a 1979 Jim Ladd interview saying:

"There is always magic to be summoned at any point. I love to live in a world of magic, but not a fake world of magic. We all really basically have a lot of magic....it's only those of us that choose to accept it, that really understand it. It's there for everyone. That's the only thing that I feel that I am able to give to people and that's why I know that they respond to me because I try to give them only their own magic...not mine, but theirs."

Does anyone know if the rest of this 1979 Jim Ladd interview is out there? :wavey:

There was also a show called "Afterviews" where Stevie and the band stopped by the studio to talk to Jim, I think it was around the time of either the WH or RAL Innerview. And then like Michelej1 mentioned a 2005 interview promoting the Vegas shows.

I've always loved the way Jim interacts with Stevie, she really opens up when she talks to him. He's the Herbert Worthington of Stevie interviews :D

luv,

I thought I'd jump in and do a big tour. Please bear with me as it will take me a few days to get all the shows uploaded. There are a lot of them!

Several of these shows I downloaded from fan sites back when there were a lot of them still on the Internet and they were posting shows every week. For that reason, a lot of these are 128kbps bitrates.

No, it's not just you. I don't have them uploaded yet so there isn't a link to put up. I'm in the process of getting them online.

To quote what I said with the list of TISL shows I'm upping:

"I thought I'd jump in and do a big tour. Please bear with me as it will take me a few days to get all the shows uploaded. There are a lot of them!"

It's going to take me a couple of days to get almost 3 GB worth of shows uploaded and I wanted to get the links on here as I get them upped since sendspace links will expire if they aren't downloaded for at least 7 days.

This is so incredibly nice of you to post these shows for everyone. It takes a long time to upload music! This is very generous of you to give it away freely! I applaud you, considering how many people try to make a profit on such recordings.

I do and will be posting them. I'm getting there slowly but surely.

I'm putting all of Stevie's tours up. I've got the Rock a Little, Other Side of the Mirror, Timespace, Street Angel and Enchanted tours left to go. Almost 11 GB worth of shows yet to come. :)
