So my friends and I decided to take a walk through our town that we are going to College in. We went in to this Record Shop and they had a ton of rare Vinyl stuff. I bought the Rooms on Fire 45' for only $2.50. I also bought a Westwood One concert on CD from the Street Angel tour. Im pretty sure its the House of Blues Show.
Other stuff they had
Stand Back Single on Vinyl
I Can't Wait Single - Vinyl
I Can't Wait Extended Remix - Vinyl
Rooms on Fire - Vinyl
Rock a Little - Vinyl
Little Lies Single - Vinyl
5 or 6 Mary Turner/Westwood One Boardcast records unlabelled - The only one labelled was a Liddy Buck Interview - 2 Records
They had the Next Stop:Maine Road bootleg from the BTM tour on CD with pictures and artwork. They had the Fleetwood Mac broadcast from 75'. They had the 1998 broadcast of the Westwood One Dance Show in Irvine (CD). A ton of Unlabelled Westwood One broadcast CD's. They had the single disc - Selections from the Enchanted CD. There were only 9 tracks.
At the front of the store underneath the register they had Behind the Mask, The Chain collection, and Enchanted. The Behind the Mask box was huge though. I couldn't tell if it was CD. Im pretty sure it was. Probably that special edition thing. I forgot to ask!! Needless to say I will be back there to buy the Rooms on Fire single.

Thanks! I can't afford it all, but its cool to know that its there. The sound quality on the Westwood One 94 broadcast is amazing. So much better than my Mp3 rip.

My idea of heaven:
I walk into a record store, and everything I have ever sought is there, and I have the exact amount of money in my pocket for whatever I purchase.

Ive never heard of the Stand Back single on LP being common around here. The Rooms on Fire single was an import from England. I must grab that. never heard much of the Little Lies single either.

I had let others know that I had some extra vinyl stuff when I listed all my vinyl here on another thread. I still have a lot of extra's. Tonight I will post them here cause this whole PM epidemic keeps striking. For those that think I am not getting around to selling my posters, honestly each time I come to visit, the PM's aren't working. :o
Thus far all those singles are great scores. The Stand Back LP is in several formats. One w/ a pic sleeve promo SB side A, Garbo side B. Another in a plain sleeve but w/ a stamp on it, in WH script, same play list as above (need to pull out box, may be another track) then the import versions.
ROF, I think there are only a few. Only 1 US I think, but hey, I could be wrong, the rest imports.
Again, great scores. I love hearing about people finding stuff in RECORD STORES...a slowly dying breed.

I knew it would be good to post here because I don't know much about this stuff. All I knew was that I wanted the ROF single because it had the Alice B-side.
But honestly guys, if something here is rare and someone wants it Ill go buy it for them.

Anita, I know you mentioned you didn't have the Hologram from the OSOTM,
if I come across one, would you like it, if the price is reasonable (under $20 or so)?
I see them sometimes...

I don't know what is considered "rare" at all, as far as the vinyl goes...
I think the Timespace LP is?
I used to think the picture disks were (I love those) but now I am not sure.
Is there a site where you can find out what is rare, and what is not, or just ask here?
LOL...

Ok, so I know for a fact I have the following:
Everywhere 45 Japan
Little Lies 45 Japan
Big Love 45 Japan
Tusk PS USA Promo white label
TTM b/w OMBTR&R* and Imperial Hotel 12" Parlaphone Label UK
I know I have more including some other 12" stuff, but alas my night got hectic (and I watched a movie...won't lie)haha
Anyone interested, respond. I'd merly like what Ipaid for the items. All are in B+ to A shape (record/sleeve, etc) and I think the 45's were about $6 a pop, and the LP was $8. Fair. Beats Ebay. haha
Any vinyl is rare in the sense that if you want to collect, it's fun to have all. Not neccessary, but fun. It's harder & harder to come by, as like I said there aren't that many record stores around, or maybe there are, but not as many people bringing their stuff in. It's such an Ebay world we live in anymore.
Thanks "taken" I'd love to check that out, but going to visit my pals this weekend. Never fails. Plus, that guy knows I lurk so he'd prolly pull all FM stuff as soon as he saw my VW Jetta parking ablaze w/ my FM decal. lmao
Barb, yea if you see one on Ebay give me a shout. Usually I see them there too, but always miss the auction. Though I'd like to have the LP w/ the sticker that says "hologram inside" I guess I'd be just as ok still w/ the hologram by itself.

Here is one with the LP and Hologram (not on eBay tho)
$15:
OSOTM + Hologram (http://www.musicstack.com/item/2306320/stevie+nicks/the+other+side+of)
It is in the UK, so shipping may be a bit more, but I usually shop
there, LOL.
I will let you know if I come across more.
