Accck! My 666th post. Perfect. My day was spent (my b-day no less yesterday) re-doing my room in between "working." I mean I was scheduled, but wasn't really there in mind....not that I ever am in general anyway. haha. Wanted to share this w/ everyone. Had started to one time on that other board, but since that is gone, hope you don't mind me showing here. Now, I realize it'll never be an Alicia room, but one can always aspire :xoxo:

PS: since adding posters to a popcorn ceiling is not an option, I will be looking to unload a lot of these. Sad but true. What's the point of having them all if they just sit around? Anyone seeking something in particular? I had brought this up @ that other place as well, and may have lost some of you that inquired. ty

^^lmao, I mean I have totally joked about that b4, cause it's a FULL room. I mean, I didn't take everything out like I was going to do. Like the vinyl, and the shirts, to take individual pics, cause I think I have done that before. However, all that crap on the shelves, and in that curio cabinet etc, I mean after getting over looking at the walls, then you have to take time w/ each side of the room and what it has in there. I still get caught up in going over what I have. And I can never get it ALL together. In my storage unit, omg, who knows what lurks in there. Then the WORST part is that I have other interests, and I don't want them clashing w/ my SN things, but omg, I have all this other stuff. I'm thankful for a 2 room joint, but next move, maybe I'll look into 3 rooms, so that the other room can be my "other stuff." bwhahah. Who am I joking, it'd get divided tween the Fm room, and the solely SN room. aack, the concept!

Next time my husband comments on my Stevie obsession, I'm showing him this thread.
All kidding aside- that is truly awesome and you have displayed everything in such a beautiful way. I wouldn't even know what to choose as far as helping you unload. I am partial to earlier Stevie photos (Rumors, Mirage, Wild Heart, and RAL).

Um, you should have that get together you were talking about. Where we get together at your house, drink, and look at all your f*cking fabulous crap? Yaaaaaaayyy!!!
I'm interested in something, or a few things, do you know yet which you are letting go of? I see millions of things I like. :)

For the time being, all things on the wall not available. My main concern was all those posters in the 1st pics, cause I chose really what I wanted this go round on the wall. So I'd be more inclined w/ things in that 1st pic 1st. EXCEPT w/ Jazzie, cause well, that SIAB does seem like something that ought to be in his home, but still for now, not yet. So that I don't irk Ledgies, inquire bout intersts via PM, and I'll keep you all posted. < harhar, get it? Thanks all for your kind words. A major labor of love, collection spanning years. I hate where I live & the headaches that go w/it, but each time I retreat to this room, I am most thankful.

Hi Alicia: Hope I got your name right. You've got tons of stuff....alot of mine are in tubes etc.....I wish I could see all of mine but I can't. I don't recall how to pm you.....I know you said your not getting rid of the 'wall' posters and I do understand. I've been seeking that Mask poster you have above the bookcase like forever.....I've hardly ever seen it. Can you tell me is it a UK poster (the save me poster I think?)...Just wondering. Either way nice collection......thanks for sharing it.....

Isn't it funny how we still get excited about seeing a "rare" photo after all these years? There's always something different out there to surprise you!

That pic you have inquired about is well matted and framed, and to take it out would be to tear apart the back of the framing :distress: sorry. I'll try to take a pic and see how it comes out. NOTICE: I am a lazy flake...this could happen tonight or never. I will be on my best "geterdone" mentality. I'm so proud of you Alicia for spotting a gem. heehee. Nothing else made you go WHOA?!?!?! Actually a good deal of what I have now, I had then, just far from displayed so well. And the photos had been terribly cataloged. They are in WAY order now! When you had been in the Bay Area you were just so limited on time and such. Anyway, that was almost 7 years ago. I guess I have gotten plenty more since then. It's nice to have them organized, you really ought to consider it. If anything, you recall what you have once more. Seems in several posts you've mentioned a lot if not all your stuff is at your moms. It really ought to be maintained. I figured if I had all this crap, I was going to make it nice. Does anyone care? Do I have anyone to leave it to? Naw, I'm taking it with me! Anyway, that was just my thought on that.

That is great that you have it so organized, and know everything you have!
Yes, most of my stuff is at my Mom's, but we are getting a house together, so I will be sure to complete the organizing then, won't be for a year or so,
but that is cool.
I do love that pic Alicia spotted, and I understand you cannot take it out, I would just like to see a "pic of a pic" to see it better, LOL.
Is it a Herbie photo? Is it RAL era? Looks quite cool, anyway!
Your collection looks awesome, as does Alicia's.
Stevie would be proud!

Hi Sue! I think your post is actually for Anita (GarboSpeaks!). I'm Alicia (Haunted_Song), and I'm just in awe of Anita's fabulous collection!Hi Alicia: so sorry for the error....I'm sure I'd love all /everyone's collection...of course some of us have the same stuff...it's the rare items that leave us OOhing and AAahinng....ya know. There's much I still seek but , of course 'where' to put all of it.....really....if I could share my pic's I would.....I'm a lazy computer person.....need to learn much more just (so sad to say) lazy too yet....I could learn it one way than it would change the 'next day to something totally different anyway. Maybe I'll get something printed up in Barb's fanzine someday.....So Alicia, what rare Stevie or FMac items are you seeking? If anything? I'm still seeking...the 'other' WH 3-d tour card not sold on tour...and all the outakes that were on ebay....a Non emb WH jacket/blue/XL....had it let it go...(long story let me tell ya) WH logo necklace...name writing like lp/have a small one for BD too. It's cheap jewlery. 'Save Me' Mask poster...like Anita has pictured....signed items/signed stage tamb/....well...think you get my drift really....the more rare items....but of course those cost $$ so we must be picky .....and always outtake pictures........well....maybe I'll list more another time.......:)

Anyway, Anita, Thanks for sharing your collection.....it's great how you have everything organized...at least somewhat. Like I stated most of mine are in tubes.....I used to change my posters more....but well....I got lazy. It's a job. I don't have them in just one poster frame. I wish. I love the 'Save Me' poster you have from Mask...the one above the bookcase. I've been seeking it for sometime. Is it a UK poster. Is there anything you can tell me about it. I love buttons too. I have tons of them. I think there so cool. Anyway, thanks for sharing your stuff...and I hate the '6' # thing....I'm with ya there yuck!!! At least your off of it......take care.......:D

Hi Sue,
The poster (and I think someone else asked about this...sorry for the slow delay) anyway, the one in question over th ebook shelf, BTM era. It is a International Fan Club issue poster, so I suppose it is a UK made poster. I have no idea about the working of any fan club put on by FM back in the day. Even though this would have been the 90's, I was so out of the loop until the internet. I thought I had SO much stuff, and then the Internet comes along and it's like WHOA!
Thanks for all your compliments, and Alicia's room, MAN, do you ever have to find that thread!
What I seek and love the most is vinyl. But as far as memrobilia is concerned, I like the off stuff. I still seek the Hourglass, the Brush & Mirror set, and the Kaleidiscope. 2 of those things TS era. Oh, and of all things that I still don't have...the friggin' Hologram!
I could never have it all, or enough, cause I suppose there is always more out there to get, but I do love collecting. It's just become so consuming, I have to slim back a bit. I figure even w/ the ridding of posters, if I ever really find myself sorry, I suppose I could always find them again right?
I like signed stuff too, but have always been slow about acquiring that stuff cause I want something signed for real to me! Is that too selfish? haha. And the stage stuff, well, again, I'm more into the memrobilia, promo stuff, and photos. Gawd, do I LOVE the photos. If I ever got rid of EVERYTHING, I'd still always have my photos. Takin' them w/ me!
Next up, I'd like to show my scrap books. What w/ the others shown here, I'd just like to show my work, and years of collected stuff. Maybe I'll try that this weekend, plus get a better pic of that photo. ;)

So great to see your room! I'm constantly standing in the middle of my spare room wondering how to organize and display everything properly and functionally. I Go Insane! Maybe I'll try that this weekend, plus get a better pic of that photo. ;)Hi Anita: Thanks for answering. Yeah, I thought that was a UK poster. Not that I really love the Mask era...do love that poster though...I think it's better than the Mask one's from the than LP they released really. Don't ya think?? I'm with you love the promo items and rare photos for sure. Just think theres like so many outtakes taken. I know the Mirror brush set your talking about...I think Wynnco had that and they wanted tons of $$ ...the larger Hologram I have a picture of that too. Thats so awesome. I'm seeking the large UK Timespace face standup. I missed getting it by that much in Goldmine....missed it buy a phone call....Goldmine was the only way to really get things before the Net....now it's a sad shell really.....I'm seeking that Wild Heart jacket and an Emb Timespace jacket too. Posters that 'rare' UK BD poster that was sold months ago on ebay....never seen it before probably won't ever again. I have the standup for BD UK....it's a great shot. Stevie looking through the crystal tamborine with the red rose and blue beret hat.....love to have that hat and crystal tamborine.....just to find a crystal tamborine like on BD would be cool....any of the jewelry Stevie gave out to her fellow bandmates....or those journals she supposedly printed up after each tour for her bandmates.....I'm sure I'll forget something....like you said theres so much that before the net you never had any clue what exsisted....and theres still alot we don't know about either. Now are you talking about the 'smaller' Mirror hologram from the LP? Cause there was an even 'rarer' hologram done only in the UK /promo thats really , really large picture of Stevie. It's better than the small one but rare. I never even knew about that one til I'd gotten a photo from this guy I was getting stuff from. He'd sold it already for like 2000.00....not cheap at all thats for sure. I have the Mirror kaliescope....sorry, not ready to part with it either yet. Have the TS hourglass and pouch too.......it's a shame they don't do stuff like that anymore....sad really. Guess I'll keep looking....as well as other things....the 2 promo pic disc's for BD and WH...lost winning those on ebay too.......so many things....and can't have them all either.....not enough room for all of it.....I don't think I've seen Alicia's room photos? Can you repost yours Alicia? Anyway, if you ever want to get rid of the Mask/uk poster let me know.....thanks again...and good luck with your hunt of items......:D:blob2:
