Ill make it short since im on the bus back to nyc but it was awesome. No new song additions but how still my love stayed whuch surprised me. I got my 6th row tix at 2pm and so glad i waited. Stevie was very emotional about this being the last show and even cried after dedicating landslide to her dad, which caused lori and jana to start crying. At this point i think its hard to see ant emotions on sharons face. Stevie was shaky vocally at times but she was the most talkative ive ever seen her and really funny. Wasnt til landslide when she let go and shed some tears, caysing waddy to ask her if she was alright. I took some vid clips so ill get them up asap.

   So true!!
Just got back, and I'm glad I went. Despite the awful security, here are just a few of my own personal highlights...
-Mama was one Chatty Cathy tonight. I mean... wow. You just couldn't get her to shut up and just sing the damn song. Cutest story was for "Sorcerer," in which she described being a waitress (while Lindsey did his music) and held up an imaginary tray with her right hand doing her waitress schtick. I think this is perhaps the most intimate show of hers I've ever seen due to all of the dialogue.
-Even though we all know the setlist front-to-back, for some reason I was hoping for little surprises here and there. This being the last show of the tour and all (which she repeated about 50 times) . And there were actually a few very subtle mini-surprises throughout the night.
-As mentioned before, she got totally verklempt at the end of "Landslide." There's something about Atlantic City... that's also where she lost her **** at the end of "Silver Springs" on the Dance Tour. Anyway, it was just so... novel to see her so in-the-moment
-She didn't go high for the "Take me like the wynd child, take me to the sky" part of "Rhiannon." :distress:. However, she did throw in an extra long wail at the end. After the song ended, she apologized to the band for surprising them with that. She said that "for a moment I thought it was 1977." I have video of this, which I will upload in a few days...
-During the band introduction, Stevie turned to Lori and said something to the effect of "When we get back to Phoenix, we're going straight to work on the 'Rhiannon' movie. We finally did it," while pumping her fist a little. WTF??
-At the end, during her usual farewell speech about being safe, saving music, etc., she let slip "...and we'll see you again next year." :blob1: I guess this means we'd better start saving our drakmas for the next tour.
The outfits were pretty much the same, but I really noticed the weight loss. No more thunder thighs! I would dare say her legs are a bit too skinny now. Even the pooch is nice and flat. I think she finally lost most of that last stubborn 15 pounds. But more than anything, she looks much lighter on her feet and more graceful.

When she talked about "seeing ya'll again next year"...I think she was talking about the Mac. ;)
That little ditty to Lori about "we did it", IMO, was about finishing the tour related obligations/WB CV commitment. It seemed almost triumphant, like "Ha, NOW I get to work on what I want". (I know others will interpret it differently but that was my take)
Security was just pathetic and honestly, that has never happened to me at the Event Center before. That outdoor Borgata SYW gig had hard nosed security but Stevie's solo shows have normally been ok. I took about five photos and was told to stop about five times.
Chatty Stevie is always a good thing and she was pretty animated, ie, happy. ;) She seriously mentioned this was the last show about ninety eight times.

Apparently security was only letting the first 3 rows for edge,I was in the 4th and actually wrestled with security briefly before getting loose and winding up almost dead center.
They then made us leave after the walk, although some remained and I guess they just gave up.

I completely agree. I do not think this was the tour/album Stevie wanted.

Nice pics! Thanks for the reviews guys!!
Here's an radio interview from June 7th (97.5 Walk Long Island) just prior to the Jones Beach show where she talks more about the Rhiannon movie and that she feels very creative going into this next chapter of her life... It's at about the 4 minute mark.

ok I have a slightly different take on a couple of things that happened last night....
with Rhiannon, she was building up so much steam, and was really rocking it that when it came time for the "All the same. baby all the same" part, she went into the "silly dreamer" part instead and when she realized that she messed up she lost all of the momentum for the big finish she was building up for (and gave the long wail at the end to try and make up for it)... I think it was her being so in the moment and then messing up that she apologized and made the "I slipped back into 1975 for a second there" comment... I am not sure, but I think thats where that comment was directed to.
and when she did the intro for Lori, she said mentioned the "Rhiannon stories and movie" but then said "Someday..." right after.

Hi all, heres a quicky review and a request, I just got in, a day late,Ok.The AC show was awesome.I had real fun at this one.got there about 5min before 8pm.
thank god she started late.It was a honor to be at her last concert of the tour.
I know its the same ole set list, so I will cut it to the chase.Standback was awesome but I've notice she had a quiver in her voice.as everyone said here It was a very emotional night for her, landslide and Beauty and the Beast was
very emotional for me , I almost broke up through these songs.dreams was awesome.Sourcer sounded different was the new sring arrangement.I got into
Rock and roll.which I'd never cared about that song before.since I had seats in sec 500, crappy seats over there in that section.anyway so I wittled my way to the front for the edge walk.when the Edge started, I had no problem with the security where I was.anyway I was about 5 to 8 feet short to reach Stevies hand, but she put that beautiful smile at me.that made the night.ok and now heres the request, Yea somebody had to record this last show,I will love to have a audio copy of this show, for trade , please PM me if aneone has an source when it comes available. or when it gets posted on the dime.

Hello, I'm new to the Ledge. I got home yesterday from the show in AC at Borgata. I have to say I loved seeing her again, but the crowd left me flat. I saw her earlier in the tour at Montage Mountain, PA and she was completely on FIRE at that show and so was the crowd. Everybody stood the entire time and sang every single song at that one. Probably the best concert I've ever been to. I'm sorrry to say, not at Borgata. I had 11th row and the people around me didn't even know much about her. Could not believe it. This woman says to me, "does she write her own stuff and isn't Waddy in FM?" Then she tells me the casino gave them the tickets. I was so pissed considering what I paid for my seat.
Highlights for me were Landslide where she cried and I cried and the audience cired. She totally wears her heart on her sleeve. She is so genuine. And oh yeah, despite security I walked right past them and made it to the stage on the left (Stevie's rght) for the "Edge walk". I was right there up against the stage and I still did not get to shake her hand but she smiled at me and that was enough. That was the closest I've ever gotten to her so I was thrilled.
Am I the only one who came away from this show feeling there was something missing though -- that it just didn't feel as special as some of the other tour stops? The venue was small compared to outdoor theatres and as I said I don't think this was a pure Stevie fan crowd. Lots of people there who were just staying at the hotel and wanted to see "a show" -- not Stevie in particular. I noticed in the beginning too as was mentioned above that Stevie's voice did seem a slight bit shaky but got better and she did seem to try and hit some high notes. And I also loved that she was so chatty. Major chatty. Never get tired of hearing that story about Dreams where she ways "what can I do to piss off FM." She means what could she do piss off Lindsdey!!!!And I loved how much she cares for the band members. She is just so normal (unaffected and so not Holloywood). As for the Rhiannon movie comment, I read somewhere that she said she wanted to talk to Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson (director of Lord of the Rings movies) about the possibility of doing something. Wouldn't that be fabulous if it came to be.
Anyway, I love this woman but would not pay to see her again at a Casino. Did not seem like there were that many genuine Stevie fans there (at least anywhere near me). I like the outdoor arenas where you can tailgate with other fans before the show and after. Play her tunes in the parking lot and rock!!!! I hope she takes a little time off and decideds what next's in her incredibe life. Whatever it is, I'll be there as I'm sure will most of you who also adore this woman.
