oh man - i need to free up more hard drive space -
how long will the links be good for michelle? is there a time-limit?
thanks again - each show lasts about the same as my drive to and from work and makes time fly - of course i look like a doofus driving down the road singing but whatcha gonna do right? :D

^^exactly. I caught on to that in your come and get it thread, so I figured I'd try it out. i actually REALLY like it. it's easy to use (which comes in handy for me  ) and i think it's actually a tad faster. might be my imagination though.

ChiliD taped that one. I believe it's just those 8 songs on the tape.

Also, can somebody check that date on the Little Rock show? That should be a May date -- May 20.
Here's are excellent lists of dates by Ledgies MacMan & Bri:

Yes, as I said, Little Rock and....oops, how could I forget gay Paree? How does one get the little accent mark on the e? Anyway, the actual live audience performance concert that followed the sound check of the infamous Dreams and Don't Stop "videos". I wish the Don't Stop video didn't fade out before the "broke a string" incident...heard on the "Live" album...Who broke a string, according to Christine? Lindsey? Christine, in her piano???

hi joe. winrar is just an unzipper for those rar files. :)

here's a link to download.com's winrar download page (http://www.download.com/3000-2250-10007677.html).

it made be trial ware or whatever else, but it won't expire or quit working for you. just extract the rar archives with that program just like you would .zip files with winzip. :)

I'd like to know how he recorded it? I'm trying to remember if I was still playing 8 tracks back then or had moved on to the "modern" cassette player :D Either way, over 30 years ago, ChiliD and I were at the same show.

FM Legacy also has a pretty extensive tour list. You might want to compare this with the 8-7-78 show in Landover, MD. to see if it's the same show. Click on tour pages to the left.

One of the few Rumours shows I know of that were bootlegged on vinyl originally. The other one was the Cotton Bowl show from July 1978. It's nice of you to share all these, Michelle. The band played two nights at Aladdin, Aug. 24 and Aug. 25. The kid who bootlegged the first night may have recorded the second night, too.

Fleetwood played Aladdin in 1990, too, & you can see that show on shaky video. Stevie in her mini.

My guy from England has this one:

May 18, 1977 Oakland, CA Grade B-

And then he lists these two from 1974:

??/??/1974 Sausalito Soundboard Recording Grade A

Oct. 19, 1974 Chicago - - Audience - 2 CDs

Does anyone think they are worth getting?

Does anyone think they are worth getting? This one's on Michelle's list. It's the Oklahoma City 5.18.77 soundboard. It's certainly worth getting if you like Fleetwood Mac Rumours shows in very good audio. It's not a complete show, but as Spencer Tracy said of Hepburn: "What's there is cherce."

this is one of the best...wish the whole show was here. there's something about the audio quality that, for me, sounds awesome. it's more live, more reverb and ambience than the other soundboards. sounds more "live"

the band was in top form...everyone...of course, stevie in "rhiannon" is in strong voice..."take me like the wind (voice cracks)...child....take me like....uhhhhhaaaaaa" ...and the classic finale...
SILLY DREAMERRRRRRRRUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! : )

"green manalishi" rocks! love how full chris's organs sound and lindsey's wah-wah guitar is spot on...

i actually like listening to "don't stop" on this one too...

i think i may need to go listen to this right now!!!

Just wanted to post some belated thanks for these. I just got an 80gb iPod and have so much space to fill up, and I'm going hog-wild!

Are any of these shows particularly better than the others? I'm reading the notes Michele included so grabbed a few shows based on those plus the Oklahoma soundboard referenced above, but I want to make sure I don't miss anything!
