Yes I know those stickers can be a bit cheesey, but I wish everyone here had them!

I've been here since April, and know maybe 5 peoples names. I don't find that good.

I thought of starting this thread a while ago, but never got around to it.

So the concept is to:
state your name, and maybe one or two facts about you so us newer Ledgies can get to know everybody better.

Hello, My Name is Christine. I am a High School student, Im gonna be a sophomore this year, I like to write, and as this thread states, I like to know peoples names, even though at first I may forget them, I will eventually remember. I like to listen to music, and watch tv. My favorite show is The Office, but as the Big Brother tread shows, Im addicted to that as well....I really have nothing else to say.

post away please :)

hi, my name is sarah. i like to lounge around in my pajamas, play my guitar, and slack off at work. i don't like mayonnaise, and seafood of any type makes me want to barf. i like to bounce from place to place, and i plan on moving within the next 6 months to go to art and design school. i don't ever want a 9-to-5 job ever again. i am a reformed drug and alcohol abuser, but i still like to drink beer and get stoned at home, and that probably won't ever change.

Yeah it has its downsides though. They'll only funnel so much money into my obsession.

And I always had Dreams and Rhiannon on my computer, just because EVERYONE has those two songs on their computer, and never really gave them anymore thought. Then one day, I was in my middle-school Running Coach's car, and Edge of Seventeen came on. I remebered the song, and REALLY liked the woman's voice. Went home, looked it up, found out it was Stevie Nicks, who is also in a band called Fleetwood Mac. So, at that point I knew more about Rhiannon and Dreams, went and downloaded TISL, loved it, and it took off from there.

Yeah, I think all fans love it at first and then it eventually gets tired. I love it, but I prefer the Demo #7 and really think it would've fit better on BD.

 My mom appreciates that Stevie has a unique voice, and that no one will ever sound like her. When she comes in my room and bothers me, I'll put on Stevie and she'll immediately leave the room. My Dad hasn't seen Lindsey really do anything spectacular, so he's really indifferent to the entire band.

Hi. I'm Kate, otherwise known as Katie Ramone, the lone female Ramone. I'm an aspiring hairdresser and makeup artist, as well as singer/guitarist. I was born in Pittsburgh, and I'll probably die here. Rock'n'roll is my life. I like seeing bands, wearing elaborate makeup, teasing my hair, making out with guys who wear more makeup than I do, getting stoned, cheap beer, good records, bad karaoke, glam rock, gogo dancing, and old punk rockers. I'm awesome.

Hi, I'm Gerald from the Netherlands, a 41 year old audiovisual teacher in social work. I have a 7-year old son with my girlfriend for 16 years. I coach a soccer little-league-team of 7 and 8 year-olds and love music. Usually alternative indie-rockmusic, but Fleetwood Mac is my first big love. Although I knew I was straight since I saw a Stevie-picture in '77 at the age of twelve, I have grown to become a big Lindseyfan. Mainly because Tusk raised me from a mainstream-musiclover towards a Indie-musiclover at the day it came out. Tusk is the best album ever recorded by anyone.

A straight male Fleetwood Mac fan. Yes, I am a rarity.

I drink beer, not often, but when I do I'm quite good, and I occasionally smoke dutch :D .

Hi Kate!
I was good friends with both Johnny and Joey for many, many years. I'm a huge Ramones fan. I dont know who I've seen live more -- the Ramones or Fleetwood Mac...two totally different artists, but both bands inspire me.
You've got great taste! :wavey:

Hi all, since I have missed the last introduction on here now, Now let me introduce myself, I'm Skip, I'm single from CT the wealthiest state in the USA. and the most taxed.I'm probably the oldest one on here , I'm 45, I've been a fan of Stevie's since the 70's.burning up the highways for over the pass 20 years going to see Stevie's concerts and still going, now geting ready for Atlantic City. Will hearing that from a hardcore classic country music fan is odd.collected Stevie/FM stuff for the last 15 years,I still roam the local fleamarkets and tag sales for Stevie/FM stuff. ok, Now I'm working in a local warehouse walking distance right down the street from my home.As they say, it's a job. It pays the bills and finances the Stevie addiction,I'm professionally trained in Computers and Electronics, used to help run a couple of TV/VCR shops in town, but thanks to Wal-Mart and the lower priced electronics crap, that killed the business.sometimes on the side, I fix computers and electronic devices for freinds and relatives.someday I love to open a museum of old electronic equipment.hum or a Stevie shrine somewere.

 :wavey: Actually, age wise, I have you beat by almost 5 years! LOLOL.. It's GREAT to be Stevie fans! LOLOL:laugh:

My name is John. I am 43 years old and have lived in Tampa, Florida for about the last 10 years. I have a partner of almost 4 years named Steve, 2 black poodles (Calvin and Clyde), and a cat named Diva. They pretty much rule the roost. I am originally from the Show Me State and work for a large communications company for almost 20 years (Can ya hear me now? lol)

I love to go out, dance, drink, party...etc...etc. Sarah and I would get along well...lol. I dont say a whole lot on this board but am always lurking. Is good to hear more about everyone's lives. You guys are a great bunch of people and you can tell you definitely like to have fun.

I got into Stevie when I was about 12 upon hearing Rhiannon on the radio. From there I was always borrowing my sisters records and listening to FM over and over. My first Stevie concert was the RAL tour in 1986 at Sandstone in Kansas City. I have probably seen her about 30 times since then. Glad to meet everyone!!

I'm probably the oldest one on here , I'm 45...

PFFFFT!!! Not even close.

I'm Steve, I'm 51, a native SoCal'er. Currently living a couple of feet outside the Disney Resort area of Anaheim.

I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan before there WAS a Fleetwood Mac (for those old-timer Ledgies, you know what I mean; to those newbies, I became a Peter Green fan while he was still a member of Mayall's Bluesbreakers)

I'm a professional musician (but still have to maintain a "day job" for financial security)

And, I'm married (since 1999) to my beautiful wife, Susan, who I met right here on the Ledge in 1998 (not counting Marty & Lis, I believe we were the first Ledge romance/nuptuals). And, as of last December, we are now Grandparents.

We currently have Daisy, a funny & odd beagle as our canine companion that we semi-inherited from my mother-in-law (I say "semi" because my mother-in-law is still alive, there was a point where she couldn't care for Daisy, so we took her in...the beagle, not the mother-in-law). Pictured with me in my avatar is Rudy, "my boy", a 100 lb Rottweiler, who passed away in 2002. Still seems like yesterday...I'm glad we have more happy memories than sad ones.

Betcha can't figure out my name.
(Though for the record, PLEASE don't call me Vicky. It's Victoria. Thank you.)

I'm not so much a Fleetwood Mac fan anymore, though I love Lindsey Buckingham and Billy Burnette (as well as peripherals like Walter Egan, John Stewart, and Warren Zevon).

I'm 26 and live in Northern California. I've worked as a receptionist/assistant at a local veterinary clinic for the past two years (and have done the same at other clinics in town). Sometimes I like it. Sometimes I hate it. Seems lately I hate it more than I like it. I think it may be time to move on.

For the past seven years, I've been sporadically writing a novel, which at this point I don't know if it'll ever be completed to my satisfaction. Especially since I've been mentally and physically drained for awhile. I love writing, but creativity doesn't come easily for me and I doubt I could make a living at it.

It is good to meet both of you. I post occassionally but usually just on polls, etc.

Sarah...if you do make it to Tampa you need to hit Ybor City. It is bar row if you are into that kinda thing. Be careful though...dont go alone...it can sometimes be a bit dangerous also.

Have a good weekend.

I wanted to bump this thread because I started posting here again a few weeks ago and feel a little rude jumping into discussions amongst people who know each other.

I'm joanne, I'm 25, I live in NYC and work in the theatre industry. I used to post on The Ledge a LOT when The Dance first came out. Then I disappeared for awhile, popped back in when Say You Will came out and now am back once more and hope to stick around. I actually remember quite a few names from ten years ago, but as I was 15 and rather obsessed at the time, it's probably best I start fresh. So hi!
