I found this today in the August 2007 San Diego Magazine (it's a touristy-type mag) -
"Late May brougth Stevie Nicks and Christina Aguilera to the U.S. Grant Hotel (downtown San Diego), where both singers holed up in the Presidential Suite during separate visits. Aguilera arrived in style in a white Rolls-Royce and later took to the San Diego Civic Center stage for a private concert and rehearsal to prepare for the next leg of her back to Basics Tour. Nicks, in town for a concert at Coors Ampitheatre, lingered for a five-day retreat. She indulged in an aromatherapy massage treatment at Spa Velia and room-service eats prepared by chef Andreas Nieto."
I read this and thought, 'Stevie was in San Diego for FIVE DAYS and we never ran into her???!!! AGGGHHHH!' :p Oh well, next tour go-around I'll be having happy hour at the U.S. Grant Hotel, with my eyes peeled. :thumbsup:
