I'm assuming everybody has this (I will upload it somewhere, if not). It just cracks me up every time I hear it. But, I can't understand all that's being said. Can anyone else help translate and/or correct my errors? Here's what I have so far:

Christine: Yeah. (sings) Oh daddy, you know you make me...what? (stops playing)
Voice: ??
Christine: 'cause you're sitting in the wrong pla...(laughs)
Christine: (sings) Oh daddy, you know you make me cry...why is my voice so loud? (stops playing)
Christine: I'm not trying to be picky, but I mean, my voice it sounds real loud compared to Lindsey's guitar.
Lindsey: ??
Voice: Let me reduce the (??)
Christine: It's just difficult to be sensitive when it's WOOOOOOOOOH (mocks how she sounds to herself).
Voice: We are rehearsing the right chords, etc. (??), Christine?
Christine: Yeah, it's like I was saying, Ken. You know, each song you're gonna have to...
Voice: Don't get belligerent.
Christine: Listen, (Mark?)...
Voice: Don't get ****ing belligerent, (??)

That voice that says, "Don't get belligerent", I think belongs to John McVie, by the way. Chris was very, very funny during those Rumours & Tusk rehearsals.

I'd had this since I don't even know when and for some reason hadn't listened to it. I was sitting at work today and played it. Had to stifle myself to keep from laughing out loud. Didn't want my co-workers to think I'd lost my mind and I couldn't really think of a good way to explain why it was so funny. Her tone when she goes, "Why is my voice so loud?" is hilarious. She sounds almost revolted. And when she imitates how she sounds    I must've played it back 10 times. The male voice with the British accent is John, eh? Makes sense. I figured whoever it was, they were just kidding around.

This sounds priceless. Upload! Upload!

I've noticed a lot of kidding between Chris and John in interviews, too. Didn't John call her a cow once in a spoofy radio interview? I think I read that somewhere on this sight in something from the Blue Letter Archives.

You're right, Aleuzzi, she is pretty funny. I was just watching that little Rumours interview, where she is drunk, stoned or both, on YouTube again. I don't think I noticed the other time I watched it that she joked that Songbird was about her and her dog:lol:

Thanks for this. Yeah, that's John, I think, pretend yelling at her.

I love that youtube video of her interview. too. She's wasted, no question. How about the moment when she stoops down to caress the interviewer's shoes?

That was from that 1976 Backbeat radio interview, although I don't think John was kidding that time. He told her, "Shut up, you fat cow". He was very drunk that time & listening to the reaction from the other band members, I don't think he was kidding. When she mentioned to him that he'd been drinking, he replied that she had driven him to drink. Not very nice at all.:(

However, later after the marriage had completely ended, there was a lot of kidding back & forth between the two, but not so much around 1976.

Jessica,

I clicked on your link and what I got was a popup window with ads for a porn site. You might consider using a different upload site.

Sorry. The porn thing never happened to me. I tried 3 times to upload it at Senditfile.com and couldn't get it to go through properly. I won't use that one again, I guess, but other sites have caused me some issues, also.

Ouch! That was real? How awful! I have only read the interview transcription, never actually heard it, so I assumed it was all tongue-in-cheek. God, what a terrible thing to do to someone...

I think it was definitely real. Lindsey even tried to help by telling John to be civil. You could tell by everyone else's reaction, that John wasn't fooling around. I don't think I've ever heard a Fleetwood Mac interview in which John talked so much. Usually he was very quiet.

Alright, here's the file at another site. I've checked the Uploadpower one a few times and have yet to get a porn ad, but that's not cool, so I'm putting it here.
