OK, wow. It's been quite some time since I posted here. I'm just wanting to clarify Christine's participation on Bonnie Raitt's Nine Lives. She is on background vocals for the song "Angel," right? And she had recorded background vocals for "No Way to Treat a Lady," which was supposed to appear on another album that was scrapped due to a problem with Bonnie's record company, yes? So the version of that song she's on is NOT on Nine Lives? Now, I do have an mp3 of the song with Christine singing. Not exactly topnotch quality, but maybe it's the best that was ever available.
Do I have all this down correctly?

Yes, you do have it right.:) "No Way To Treat A Lady" is on Bonnie's Nine Lives album, but it isn't the same version as the one with Christine's backing vocals, unfortunately.

As many times as I listen to Angel, finding Christine's voice in there is hard work for me. It's a beautiful song (I would love to hear just Christine singing it, also), but if I didn't know she was on the track, I would've never noticed. Unlike the version of No Way to Treat a Lady she was on, she's kind of buried, IMO. Other backing vocal appearances she's made, like the Christopher Cross song, were much more prominent, which was nice.
