A tribute to Ahmet Ertegun will take place tonight at the Egyptian Theater.
Performers including Stevie Nicks, Phil Ramone, Diane Warren and Solomon Burke will gather to salute the Atlantic Records founder.

Ertegun died after a backstage accident at a Rolling Stones concert last year. Today would have been his 84th birthday.

Tribute is presented by the American Cinematheque as part of its eighth annual Mods & Rockers Festival.

Evening will also include a special screening of the "American Masters" docu "Atlantic Records: The House That Ahmet Built."

Looks like it's part of a festival... Mods & Rockers... and you might be able to buy a ticket to get in...

Thanks... but, um... it looks like a movie screening, not a concert. Still... tickets are free... It would still be fun to see Stevie in the audience. I wonder if she takes butter in her popcorn. :p

Let's just hope Stevie doesn't collaborate with Diane Warren.

Why not? Stevie needs a hit like Lindsay Lohan needs a hit (of boogah sugah).

I'm sure Stevie will get up in front of the screen prior to the feature presentation to:

A) Perform "Landslide" and dedicate it to the concessioners who have helped her through this difficult time in her life and the ushers who bravely led her to her seat.

and

B) Segue to her version of "Let's All Go to the Lobby" with the L.A. Philharmonic.

I'm there!!!
