At the risk of sounding like a true nerd, is anyone here going to the Comic Con in San Diego this weekend? I am - I go every year with my brothers. We love it. It's GREAT for people-watching cause there's tons of people there dressed up as their favorite heroes or villians. (It's REALLY funny when you see a 300 lb Princess Leia walking around. ) Anyway, it's always really fun. A lot of celebs usually show up, some scheduled, some by surprise. I highly recommend going if anyone's thinking about it. :)

That event has turned in to a major force at the Convention Center. My nephews go every year and we never know what they will look like when they come home. It's always scheduled the same weekend as Sandcastle Days here in IB so we are kind of stuck at home if we ever dream of getting back to the beach without waiting hours in traffic.

This will sound funny, but my best friend's best friend went with her brother. She goes every year, and she just LOVES it. She said there is always interesting people to meet and greet.
