I was surprised too... But they didn't air the really bad stuff on the normal show, not sure about showtime.. But from some of the feeds I've seen, it was pretty bad, I don't think I could have stood it much longer... I figured something was going to happen, but they let it play itself out - and as a result they got a ratings bump from it too... They (CBS) don't want Dick to leave! He's pretty much the star of the show, if he wants to be... Jen had her opportunity, but she's been laying low and getting along with people, not so self centered as before.

not totally. did you see what she said after she made that big spill in the HOH room. that wasn't honest. I think she's playing it up way more than she feels it. I imagine it is a little uncomfortable, but I've never really seen evidence of anyone being OVERLY rude or mean to her based on her dad. in fact, they've all been tame, imo. I think I'm going to have to DVR the "After Dark" segments on Showtime 2 now. How sad is that? Every summer, this show sucks me in deeper and deeper...and when it's over, I feel like I have my life back.

oh, and what i found out from the lucky customer service person i emailed with is that the daniele top was never in their stores. it was only in the department stores (macy's primarily) and is no longer being made. boo.

Amber is a nut case. The great part about this it that she will be in the sequestered house and will STILL cry at the drop of a hat. The beach house will be her last place of solitude. Wherever she may roam after the finale, she will be ridiculed in public more than any of us can imagine.

The HOH competition was freaky and a lengthy one - house guests had to walk down a slippery bowling-type lane with a tea cup filled with "tea" to fill a big bowl of water and then back up the lane and start again. (Im not describing this right, but you will see what I mean tomorrow).
I know who won the HOH competition and will PM it to you if you like.
But the REAL kicker was what Julie Chen stated at the end of the show -- Janelle returns on Tuesday as part of a special veto ceremony and then, on Thursday, its going to be a live DOUBLE eviction and the house guest dont know that yet. I screamed!
They still have not shown the sequestered house. I am hoping that we get to see THAT drama tomorrow (Sunday).

omg. that was crazy. but i am going to get all serious for a moment. aside from the fact that i think dick and daniele just really played THE best game this season, and they totally deserve to be where they are - and i'm just so sure they are going to pool the winnings and split them 50-50 - i think CBS should be charged with abuse and torture. that cold water spray was cruel and seriously dangerous. they could have suffered serious hypothermia. tiny daniele for sure, and i was so relieved when she got down. i have been her size - and let me tell you - when you have no fat on your body, you have zero insullation. and the way she was shivering, and the way the two GUYS were shivering? seriously, CBS should get a huge fine for that. cruel and unusual punishment.

I had a feeling D would step down due to the water based on the previous show...poor dear. WTG cbs with the underwater crotchshot. :laugh: Man, did Dick smash that buzzer or what? I am glad both of them won. Zach needs a serious eyebrow waxing. I think the house will come to the conclusion, after watching the end shows, that Daniele was working the bad-parent bit afterall and will vote for dick to win. :shrug:

I was shocked that Dick won though, Daniele was a much better player, and the only time I thought she rode her fathers coatails was when he took her off the block instead of himself.

Yeah... I was wondering about that too....

I didn't care either way which one of them won... I think they both were really good at the game in different ways... Dick was WAAYYY out there with his tactics, but it worked and you have to appreciate his honesty, even though he could be pretty verbally abusive.

Thats why I loved Dick, because he was honest and up front with people and what he thought about them.
I respect that, its better than going behind someones back talking about them.
