1. Don't invite a whole bunch of people over to your forum and then ban them when they get dissatisfied with your policies.
2. Don't ban your entire forum core and be surprised when things suddenly become very dull.
3. Don't divide your forum up into 18 seperate sub-forums unless you really need to. Seriously. It just confuses the hell out of people.
4. Never, ever, remove the chit-chat/off-topic/general discussion forum from your board. It pisses people off.
5. Don't lock the thread where you explain why you banned half of your constituency last night. Also, don't delete the forum in which that thread is located in a clumsy attempt to cover your tracks.
6. Don't open a forum under one screen name and then slowly transform yourself into an alternate alias.
7. Don't ask people you give you $5 just so they can send each other private messages.
8. Don't ban your supporting members.
9. Don't become such an overbearing asshole that people compare you to Adolph Hitler or Joseph McCarthey.
10. Don't impose a 300 kb limitation on signature size and then repeal it without warning.
11. In fact, don't do anything without warning them.
12. Don't accuse anonymous traitors of sabotage without plenty of evidence first.

Uh, I haven't been banned yet and it is Dullsville over there. The majority of posters are new fans or like, 12 years old. Lots of threads like "How do I post an Avatar photo?" Or "Stevie's hands". Lordy, how can one have a meaninful conversation about Stevie's freakin hands?
The most amusing post I read today was about how the mass banning was a "little bump in the road" and they are "Back to having fun now".

I think it's basically just cookie (who is pretty much bonkers), tc, tarot, and some other random people. I feel bad that they are trying to hang onto something.
