I'm really anxious to know if anything's changed. At the very least, I'd expect for her to be doing 15 songs now or the VERY least back up to 14.

Never change, never stop
And now it's gone
It doesn't matter what for
:p
I'm not sure if anything's changed...were there supposed to be any?

I'm just assuming since CI is leaving and Venessa Carlton will have a shorter set, Stevie will have way more time to fill.

I would hope she would add an extra song or two but I doubt she will. Only 13
songs, it is a rather short set list and she has so much material. Once again, I see the future in sight and can say she will not do any extra or anything out of the norm.

They're reporting on 7W that nothings changed except switching Enchanted and Dreams
Stevie, I love you. Get a frickin' clue. Your setlist is SO DAMN TIRED. I was REALLY hoping to hear something new at the show I went to. I didn't, although hearing "If Anyone Falls" was great.
I guess she's just becoming a Vegas-type oldies act, singing the same dozen songs over and over and over....that's depressing.
Well, atleast some of us can save our $100 next time around for something a little more....relevant?

Cooprocksalittle also said she wiped out during the edge walk and that Jana and Karen rushed out to help her up:eek: ... Said she's fine, made a joke about it and went on with the ending of EO17...

No new songs, as expected. I hope people were not actually expecting something new? She also tripped and fell on her ass, during Edge, as Peter posted above. After seeing her almost wipe out in Camden, it disturbs me that she tripped and fell so soon after Camden. It is reminding me of Rock a Little era. She said she is ok but I am sure she was embarrassed as Heck.

I sure hope fans are not getting charged the same price for 1/2 a show. Since Chris Isaak is no longer there, it cuts about 14-15 songs, right? I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

Vanessa Carlton replaced Chris Isaak, so it's still a full show.

They have been rehearsing WLT. I heard it during soundcheck in Mansfield. But who knows if it will actually make it into the set. It sounded decent.

Glad she didn't hurt herself. But I hope this doesn't mean the end of the boots (again).

Wow, that sucks. Is she at least doing Fall From Grace again?

No fall from grace, she just switched the position of Dreams and Enchanted. I have said all along that her set is always about an hour and fifty minutes long , and that is what it was when she played with Chris. It's not like we are getting half a show now...we get the same Stevie and Vanessa. (who rocks, btw)
Jimmy, I did say that if we got anything it would be WLT, but she didn't rehearse it at the Holmdel Soundcheck. I am actually annoyed we didn't get WLT now. (and I really don't dig that song much) ;)
I really hope the fall doesn't discourage her from wearing the boots. It probably won't with the whole "the boots are back" thing in the tourbook and on tshirts.

I'm going to Verona on Tuesday, and since day one they keep saying there's no opening act~ no one's listed on the ticket and just the other day I called the Box Office to see if its changed and they'd say something about Vanessa Carleton~ but they keep saying ~ no opening act~ is this true or do they somehow not know VC is going to be there? Do they really have shows w/ no opening acts? I kept thinking well if it is true she has no one, than maybe she'll play longer!

Better not be~ figures something has to happen a few days before I'm supposed to see her~ haven't seen her in 10 years! I hope she's okay!:(

Well I'm a bit dissapointed, but am still VERY excited for Tuesday, simply to see If Anyone Falls and even more excited for How Still My Love, One of my all time favorites especially live versions. I've never seen either song live, so I'm satisfied with that.

Vanessa is not playing at all of Stevie's shows....I think she skipped some in 2005 as well. Vanessa's opening act really doesn't affect Stevie in any way. There isn't much breaking down of her equipment because she really only uses her piano. Stevie won't change her set around just because her opener won't be there. Her start time might be the only thing that changes.
I actually really enjoyed Vanessa in 2005 and Stevie was obviously thrilled to have her along. VC reminded me of a very young Stevie, with her writing, her passion and her style. She came out and joined Stevie's band on Rock and Roll, too.

What is this bit about Stevie playing for an hour and fifty minutes? She played for barely over hour and thirty minutes at Concord, including FFG. A good 15-20 minutes of that is boring instrumental breaks and band intros.

the show was an hour and 50 minutes last night. including talk and musical interludes while she got changed.

my guess is no. security at this place was evil (see my review thread). they were evil about camera phones - and almost killed the girl beside me on the spot when she pulled out a digital camera and snapped a few. i can't imagine anyone would have gotten away with holding up a camera to video it.

I was actually wondering about this...... there have been so many awesome pics lately from everyone and I was wondering why is she allowing pics all of a sudden?? Not that I mind--trust me it is great--but I was wondering if she was just allowing pics because Chris allowed them?? And now that he is gone are they going to start getting strict about that again?? I'm just so used to the camera nazi security for both the Mac and Stevie that it really shocked me that they didn't say a word at the Detroit show and it looks like other venues have been just as lax.......

I don't think they are actually allowing cameras. I think people are sneaking them in and at that point, security can't to a whole heck of a lot. And some people are sneaky to the point that security doesn't even know they have their cams out.

Well at DTE if they are not allowing them then they will have signs all over saying such and this night I didn't see any.... also they were selling disposable cameras that you can buy...... and trust me--no matter how many get in if they don't want you taking pics then you will know it!! And there were A LOT of people taking pics this night....... and right in the security peoples faces so I believe they were allowed.....

In Mansfield, security assisted fans to get a good spot to take pictures.
