Rumours is in my car stereo

the reason is, I couldn't upload rumours to my computer before i got the net. I have no idea why. Every other FM album would except that one  And the only song I hadn't put in my itunes was "I don't want to know". I had been in the mood to hear it for a long time, so I threw it in there. Now that I have the net again, I have rectified the situation and it's on my ipod. But I never took the CD out :o

In my computer is The Wild Heart because I just saved that to my comp as well.

Depends if I change the cd in my stereo equipment or not...Right now it's the Gamma Ray disc "Somewhere Out in Space".

Enjoying the Kathy Mattea disc?

It is empty, but my itunes is firmly on the That's Alright demo thingy that was just posted by mandserv. The one with the Stevie-with-herself-harmonies, and no-band-except-the-bass line magnificence. It's so exquisite, and I will never figure it out. Well, maybe I will, after awhile. I can't believe anyone (Stevie) ever thought of it. As far as I am concerned, it will be added to the "Eighth wonder of the world of things that Stevie can do" list. Or it could be added to the "My god I can't believe she made that up and sang it" list. Either way. Plus the "I could have never thought of that or executed it in a million years" list. Also the "no other artist, no matter how good, would have thought of doing that sh*t" list.
You know.
Wait, I also forgot the "Who's voice would ever even approach that strange goodness?" list.
Then there is the "My vocal talent is totally underrated, I am a f*cking vocal genius" list.

^^^^^ eh, I think she sounds kinda whiney and screechy...."pleeeeaaakadadseeeaassseee"

I do listen to it occasionally and tend to like it ok. but it's just...okay. it kinda drags on and on with no climax.

I much prefer the smile at you acapella or i sing for the things uptempo outtake

Oh yeah, the Wilburys. I've heard about them being reissued at the time. I grew up on the Wilburys. And on Roy Orbison's Mystery Girl, I found Billy Burnette and Rick Vito in the credits. That's how I connected to Fleetwood Mac.

"No More Tears" - Ozzy Osbourne

I'm currently interested in the musical that Ozzy has been rumored to be writing about one 'Mad Russian' "Rasputin"....Just in a Russian state of mind today

I'm pretty sure he did away with this idea. Think I read a recent interview where he decided it was a stupid idea.

Things I've been playing most over the last few weeks:

Ozzy Osbourne - Black Rain (with all the bonus tracks  )
Whitesnake - Restless Heart (I never realised Brett Tuggle was on this! It's one of my favourite 'Snake albums as well.)

And a million other things on my mp3 player

Yesterday it was Peter Green's Robert Johnson Songbook and Eric Clapton's Me & Mr Johnson - just for a comparison.

For the previous 2 weeks it has been Pavlov's Dog pretty solid - first At The Ring Of The Bell, then more recently Pampered Menial.

I was surprised these guys are a bit of an obscure band in the US - when I was growing up nearly everybody's older siblings (and sometimes younger parents) had one or the other of the albums.

the musical may not see the light of day, but there is a chance the music may be the next solo Ozzy release (Ala the upcoming Judas Priest concept album about Nostradamus)

Do you recommend the new Ozzy album? Most of the word of mouth I have heard says its an average album, but not a great one ala "No More Tears".

Right now:
Stevie Nicks - "The Divine" (Import disc)

Trivia question: Who replaced Andrew Gold in Linda Ronstadt's mid-70s touring band?

The Police Live In Atlanta 1983 was in the player yesterday. I'd forgotten how good they were live.

Today, Fleetwood Mac Dog & Dustbin...disc one of the Complete Blue Horizon Sessions. Loves me those 7 takes of "I Loved Another Woman".

I've heard the whole thing (although, haven't bought it yet). I like it. Most McCartney albums take me a few listens to "get" (a few songs will stand out on first listen, but most of the albums are "acquired tastes"). This one I liked most of it on the first listen.

To be honest, I like his Beatles stuff the best [for a while, actually before I really got into FM, I went through this whole Beatles phase...] There are only a few of his solo[Wings] songs that I like, but I'll def. check this out. thanks for the info chiliD!

Oh, hadn't heard that. I'm looking forward to Priest's Nostradamus

If you can get the bonus tracks then I'd say it's a good album, otherwise I'd say it's an OK album. Not essential to own, but it has a few good songs. The closing track of the standard album (Trap Door) is one of my favourite Ozzy tracks. I wouldn't say it's as good as No More Tears, and certainly nowhere near the first 6 Sabbath albums.

Now playing:

The Traveling Wilburys Deluxe Edition :D :D I've loved Vol. 1 since I was knee high and we had a cassette of it for the car and it's great to see it finally get remastered! Love it!
