Totally cool. I'll have to skip the rufus song, unless he just plays piano, but the rest sounds great.

I love Heart and Ann's voice, just not crazy about the covers. For a first album, it really should be original material, IMO.

Here's an update from management:
This is NOT a duets album.

Hmmmm she was slated for a solo album over twenty years ago ..the only thing that ever materialized was a song called "The Best Man in the World " from the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack.I'm kind of disappointed that it is all covers but the woman can still sing so ...

maybe I'm stupid, but I have never heard of any of these songs. so, they'll be like new songs for me. who sings them originally?

You've most likely heard them before and you can tell these are songs similiar to Heart's style. Considering it releases on 9/11, it is about peace, war etc.

Goodbye Blue Sky (Pink Floyd)
Where to now St. Peter (Elton John)
Jackson (Johnny Cash)
We Gotta Get Out of This Place (The Animals)
Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin)
Darkness, Darkness (Youngbloods)
Bad Moon Rising (Creedance Clearwater Revival)
War of Man (Neil Young)
Get Together (Youngbloods)
Isolation (John Lennon)
A Hard rain’s a Gonna Fall (Bob Dylan)
Little Problems, Little Lies (This one could be new)

oh totally! DirectTV has been playing a concert of theirs they did recently and it's obvious that this pic is retouched. but, then, what picture isn't retouched...

the only thing that bothers me about this picture are those weird circle things on the left side...they are distracting, at least to me, and screw up the placement of her name...just the OCD in me

Are those circles on her shirt? It looks like there's one on the bottom left side of the pic, but it was cut off because of the angle? Retouched or not, that is some rockin' hair. She should wear it like that more often. I watched them on Rock Honors and she had some messy up do thing going on.

you know, you may be right...it may be on her shirt.

yeah, that updo is something I've seen her do a LOT...it's just not flattering. makes her back look wider than a mack truck. but this hair, with it's soft highlights, looks fabulous. the blacker than black hair just doesn't sit well with her these days, imo.

The promo photo (for the new album) is very much touched up. Still stunning, but heavily manipulated.

Here is Ann Wilson, at Rock Honors 5/12/07:

Immigrant Song will be the best song on the album. She can hit that note at the beginning. I hope she throws Black Dog out of the setlist and does Immigrant Song for the Love Rules Tour this summer. Bad Moon Rising is with Gretchen wilson and Where to now St. Peter is with Elton so those should be amazing.

And no there won't be any special guests at Heart's show September 29 (I'll be there)...

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that.Robert Plant can't hit it anymore but Ann can.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that.Robert Plant can't hit it anymore but Ann can. She can hit the notes that Robert Plant and other artists can't. Ann is truly blessed.
