Yeah I saw it too, but now I can't find the auction. I think the list price was around $40. I saved the scans though...

This tourbook looks A LOT better than the 2005 tour especially the cover and closeups.

Thank you for the scans, not bad for a tour that just started. Lots of times these tour books don't show up to buy until the tour is about half over. Would love to see a tour book with candid Stevie photos though, but still... looks pretty good.

The photos look nice, but everything else looks like ****.
"Touring 2007"? Why the "-ing"?
And come on...my Photo Shop skills are measly at best, and I could have made nicer looking text.

I think the only text that looks like **** is the front...I love "The Ladies" and The Boots are back!

From what I can see, there are some nice images in the tour book. But overall, it is what it is: a piece of crap. Yes, as someone mentioned, the type treaments are criminally amatuer, as I suspect most of the layouts are.
The cover, while more graphically ambitious than previous others, is a mess. Again, the over-use of 25 year old images of Stevie is perplexing. Talk about living in the past!
Many fans will convince themselves that this is acceptable. In lieu of nothing else, we accept another substandard piece of....collateral.

But isn't it supposed to be Crystal Visions of her past? I think the cover is beautiful:nod: Just not the font...

Wow, the tourbook is kind of what I had in mind. Since the tour is in support of a Greatest Hits album, the tourbook should follow suit. It should be classic photos of Stevie (like the album is) and throw in a few news ones as well. Most artists plan the tour to mirror the album it's in support of.

Nitpicking aside....it's still crap. And we justify and settle for it.

Yeah well, we can bitch and moan and whine and groan all we want to (and you know we will because that's what we do) but the bottom line is that Chris Nicks will never outsource this for whatever reason, Stevie won't ever take it away from him for whatever reason, and some of us will keep buying them (me included). It is what it is. Sure it could be better but I suspect that if a Wild Heart style book came out today there'd still be people claiming it looked like crap. Or that it cost too much. Or that it looked like crap and cost too much. Or that it could have been better had they done x, y, and z. Sound familiar?

ehhh, it's not as bad as I was picturing it, but it seems like the tourbooks get worse and worse.

The recent books haven't been able to outdo the WH or ROL ones but it doesn't look too bad to me picture ~wise ,I like the cover! The one I really liked was the BTMask tourbook. It was nice thick pages with good photos~ The newer ones are a little cheaply made!

I'm curious about the statement -
"The Boots Are Back"
Did she make some new comittment about wearing them?
We all know why..the reeboks..etc. Sometimes the boots come back for the encore or special appearances. I find it odd that this declaration is being made at this time. Was it negative feedback? Can she really sustain them???

I was thinking the exact same thing. It just seems like an odd thing to put on the back of a T-shirt and in the tourbook.

It's like saying "The high notes are back" - I don't really trust anything she says anymore.

LMAO
I think the statement means that she intends to wear the boots for the entire show. She had major hip problems for a couple of years and then she would wear the reeboks. So, maybe she has had some sort of surgery and thus prompting the boots? I noticed on the Petty Highway Companion Tour (which really could have been Stevie's title) that she wore the boots...
I crack up that we are talking about a singers footwear!
But, then again, I have talked about much worse today....

Wow, this tourbook looks quite GOOD to me, based upon those 4 scans! The total Stevieness of the multiple Stevies on the cover, awesome! Haven't cared for the most recent tourbooks, but this one i think shows definite signs of improvement!
I loved the front and back covers of the 'Timespace' tourbook 100 years ago, and this seems maybe the best tourbook since then.
I guess the Wild Heart tourbook was the best? The 'Tusk' one is quite cool inside, just that awful plain cover was a waste.
In any case, it seems a hell of a lot better than the 'TISL' tourbook, the best that could be said of that was the back cover (stain-glass stevie) is nice to have with a glossy finish...

why the decision was made to put the same full-page pic in twice is beyond me.
"disappointment" would become her middle name.

Whats, in everyone's opinion, is the best tour book and why? This is the first Stevie tour book I have seen so I don't have anything to compare it with.

I saw her at red rocks last night and I bought the tour book. When I got home I relized there are two of the same pictures in it. They both take up a whole page. She has the feather hat and the pants on. Plus the pic is out of focus.
